I could not breathe well, I did not know if it was because of the smoke in my lungs or because of some injury I had sincerely at this time I did not care, it was the last thing I had in mind.
What I cared about now was running, I didn't care if my tendons my heart or my legs were begging me to stop, I didn't care if I was bleeding and had wounds all over my body.
In those moments I didn't care about anything, I only had one thing on my mind and that was to run, run as much as you can, but run and keep running without stopping at any moment because if you stop even for a second, only death awaits you.
My surroundings were trees, bushes, sticks, and leaves decorated the ground, but it was only something superficial I did not try to pay much attention.
After hearing nothing I started to stop little by little until I stood in one place and leaned on my knees and my back against a tree.
"I think he stopped following me"
My thoughts were a little turbulent, but mostly it was the tiredness of running so much.
But unfortunately, my pursuer hadn't given up on me and at that moment I don't know if it was a noise or an instinct, but I looked up.
How I wish I hadn't done that, what I was waiting for was a red moon, but that wasn't what scared me, no, what scared me was seeing me with his red eyes from a tree branch.
And those eyes, those damn eyes, which were not of any living being were looking at me, not as a living being but as an object something to kill and then forget.
Before those eyes, my life did not matter and I could not, I could not help but scream as loud as I could just because of fear.
When I came to, those eyes were gone.
I couldn't help but kneel down, not out of pain, not out of fear, but out of lack of blood I could see a body, but I wondered what a body was doing here.
But when I saw the body I couldn't help but wonder where the head was.
And I realized, how silly I was, that body obviously knew him after all was...
"My body"
In front of my body was a black-haired human with a Katana in his hand.
He had emotionless eyes, he said nothing, no words of hate of happiness or any emotion, just emptiness.
And seeing those red eyes in the moonlight, I could not help but ask myself this question.
"Who were the true deservers of the name demons?"
I don't, but maybe the person in front of him does.
After all, he was the red-eyed killer.
As an author this would be my second book.
Some of you may have already noticed, but I was inspired by Fate / Inheritance for this, and I have to say that even though they look alike, I'm not going to turn it into a copy.
And instead of being servants of nasuverse they will be anime characters I'll take it easy.
I have to say that it will be 16 anime characters no more and no less.
Maybe some of you can get some idea of who the first person in anime is.
