"With just brute strength alone, pidgeotto should be able to easily handle this" Leo thought as he looked through the system stats.
Leo placed his headphones back on before continuing on the route.
It wasn't long before he noticed a sign which read "Vermillion city" with an arrow pointing towards the distance where a faint shadow of the city could be seen.
Vermillion city was the 3rd gym battle which Leo would be facing, it was also home to Lt. Surge and his team of lightning type Pokémon.
Not only that, it was also the 5th major city of Kanto, there were many tourist attractions along with Pokémon centers and poke marts, the city also had major ports, and ships, where water type Pokémon could be found.
The ships there even sometimes sail towards olivine city in the johto region.
"As expected" Leo said as he read the introduction to vermillion city on his phone.
Although Leo thought he would feel lonely on these journeys, most of his time was spent with his Pokémon, which he actually enjoyed.

Looking towards the distance, Leo immediately noticed vermillion city, just like the other cities, it was bustling and full of activity.
The noise from the city along had reached Leo's ears, he was atleast a few thousand meters away from the city.
"Phew, another long walk" Leo sighed before continuing his walk towards the city.
"Just a few more levels before I get a pidgeot, maybe then I can fly around" Leo smiled, this same thought had been in his mind for a while now.

"Thank you nurse joy" Leo said before exiting the Pokémon center of vermillion city, although his Pokémon were healthy.
It had been a habit of his to always come here, just Incase his Pokémon were somehow injured and he didn't know.
"You know what, ima put off challenging the gym for now, I wanna do something relaxing" Leo thought.
Looking at the guide of vermillion city, there were many places, like movie theaters, malls, restaurants, etc.
But what Leo was looking forward to was the cruise ship which would travel around the sea area of vermillion city.
After signing up for a cruise ticket, Leo immediately bought an inn room before unpacking.
He was definitely planning to stay in vermillion city for a while, all that traveling had made him stiff.

Leo did some exercises in his room, this was also another habit he picked up when he noticed his body start to get stiff and lazy.
"The cruise ships open in a few days, so I have time to do many things in the city"
Turning on the computer, he immediately looked for a grocery shop, as he would need to cook and do many more things.
Leo wasn't planning on starving himself in this tiny room.
After getting the location, Leo immediately locked the door and left the inn, he returned back in an hour after buying some grocery's and other daily necessities, he had even bought some Pokémon berries and fruits for his three Pokémon.
"I guess learning to cook isn't so bad" Leo thought as he help a cook book he had bought, wearing an apron, he proceeded to cook the food.
there was even a recipe on it for cooking Pokémon food, but Leo decided to let the system continue feeding his Pokémon, whatever drugs they were taking where definitely scary products.

"This doesn't taste that bad" Leo smiled as he held his fork, seemingly in deep thought.
He had made some basic spaghetti and meatballs, there was also some mango juice in a cup.
Leo then turned to the Pokémon battle channel which was playing currently, they seemed to be reviewing the last indigo league.
