Bab 60: Flowers and Thrones

Sitting all by herself accompanied by Maid Qu, Xuan Cheng was eating her dinner, she had finally returned to her mansion. She was however not paying attention to the extravagant dishes placed before, her mind was still lingering at the palace of benevolence. The side effects of the empress had been bothering her. There were no negative side effects, and all of them appeared positive. 

However, were they actually positive? The fear that something more was there, made her anxious. It was the first time ever in the entire history that someone was cured from ocean fire poison and thus there were no proceedings. 

"Your Highness, why did stay in the palace, we were all anxious that something bad happened to you," Eunuch Jiu rushed in, as he was out purchasing some materials that Xuan Cheng had asked him for before leaving.
