[Johan's POV]

"What is there to be scared of?" Russell asked.

"A lot," Johan said. "I don't even know where to start, Rus. You already know most of it, but there are more things I'm realizing just now. I even once thought that I can cut you off of my life as soon as we accomplished what we agreed on. But now..."

Johan took a shaky breath as an overwhelming paranoia enveloped him like a cold mist. He grabbed Russell's hand and squeezed tighter. "What if I lose you by loving you?"

"Hah?" Russell stuck a pinky finger in his ear, looking frustrated as he scratch a sudden itch. "Here you go again, over-complicating shit."

"I'm serious! What if—!"

Russell clawed Johan's face, covering his mouth while sinking his fingers to his cheeks to silence him. As if that wasn't enough, he pushed and pinned him down on the picnic blanket. Then he climbed on top. "Shut up, Johan. Not another pessimistic bullshit from you."
