Bab 250: False Hope

[Adrian's POV]

The photo was not even something to be a mad about. He'd seen and heard enough of Russell's obsession from Raymond that it's not a surprise he followed Johan in Manila. What infuriated him was not thinking about the same thing! He had his motorbike. He had enough money to commute, so why didn't he?

Adrian slid his phone onto the dining table's surface. He couldn't even rant at how unfair it was because Johan sent him a message to let him know Russell was with him and he can go back to the apartment now. What should he do in an empty apartment? Wallow in self-pity while they were having fun in a faraway amusement park?

It was hard to swallow the bitter pill of betrayal.
