Bab 304: Planning for another attack

At another place in the same city, a man stood in a dim light, his fists clenched in fury. His once carefully laid plans to destroy Cameron and Ava were now in shambles. He had not anticipated Cameron's presence during the attack. 

Rage consumed him, and in a fit of frustration, he grabbed anything within reach and hurled it across the room. The sound of shattering glass echoed, but it wasn't enough to calm him. His anger only deepened.

"How could he ruin my plan?" he growled to himself, pacing back and forth like a caged animal. His breath came in sharp, shallow bursts, his mind racing with the memory of Cameron interfering in his carefully crafted scheme. "I'll make him pay for this. I'll make both of them suffer."

Just then, the door to the room creaked open, and he froze, hearing the distinct sound of footsteps approaching. The man turned slowly, his body tense with irritation.
