Bab 1: Prologue
My name is Barry Allen. And I'm the fastest man alive.
When I was a child, I saw my mother killed by something impossible. My father went to prison for her murder. Then an accident made me the impossible. Then I became the Flash.
I used my powers to find the man responsible for my mother's death. I thought I would finally get justice for my family, but I failed.
It's been six months since the Singularity. I'm on my own now. Besides, it is better that way. Keeps the people I care about, safe. There's only one thing I can do now.
I run... but I may have got that wrong. I may not be alone. And this is not just my story. Besides, having two heroes in one city isn't that bad after all.
My name is Thora Fallon. And I'm the copyist.
They say that some accidents happen because it was not entirely an accident. Sometimes it's a work of destiny or fate. In my case, that would have been the night I arrive at Central City. The night the particle accelerator which I wasn't even aware of its existence, exploded.
I was hit by the dark particles it carries, and throw my car off the road. I was in a coma for a year. My mother admitted me back to Kansas.
It's been almost two years now since the accident. I'm finally going back to Central City to continue the life I was about to take that night.
And that's when another work of fate will happen.
