I feel like I'm lacking in several areas, particularly in describing things effectively, maintaining a constant flow, and narrating the story. I think writing some short stories would help me improve my descriptive skills and overall writing technique. I'll continue Mercy Dand if someone requests, otherwise I'll move on, to start a short novel.
