"I will be back soon", Zhan Chen spoke to Lu Mingxi before moving away from the hill top. He flew towards a distant hill where his soul slave had located Shi Xuejing.

"Second elder, what do you think? Will the Heavenly sword sect attack once again?", Shi Xuejing asked an old man by her side.

"Probably yes but we should not involve ourselves with this any longer", the old man replied to Shi Xuejing.

"Second elder, please let me go. It will be best if I will talk to Zhan Chen directly", Shi Xuejing spoke.

"No, that would be too risky. You have already taken a huge risk yesterday. We can't play with fire anymore.
