When Aunt Lan saw what it was, she quickly understood, "Oh, Feng girl, you want me to make some clothes for you?"

"Yes, Aunt Lan. I just bought some new fabric yesterday and I'd like a new outfit," Nan Feng said confidently.

Lan Auntie put down her bowl, "Sure, I'll make some time to sew for you today. Any particular style you want?"

In the village, there were only a few styles for women's clothing. Considering the villagers often worked in the fields, very few girls wore skirts. Thus, Nan Feng didn't care about how trendy the design would be. She only wanted it to fit well and to be free of patches.

"Aunt Lan, could you measure me and then make it as you see fit?"

"Alright."

After leaving Lan Auntie's house, Nan Feng headed to the vegetable field with a pair of water buckets and a small hoe. She planned to plant all the Chinese cabbage seeds today.
