The four individuals seated themselves at the round table. Seeing that Nan Feng and her companions hadn't touched the Dim Sum, the Village Chief called out again, "Please make yourselves at home, and enjoy the treats! The Mung Bean Cakes were especially made by Wenxuan's mother yesterday."

Nan Feng thought to herself, since they were already there, it would be a waste not to eat, and so, she took a piece and put it in her mouth.

But it soon became clear that the enjoyment of food can vary by the setting. Some things might be delicious at home or out on the streets, but were tasteless when eaten at the Village Chief's house, and not as enjoyable as the previous time when they ate in the vegetable field.

Ye Ge, however, did not touch any of the cakes.

He cut straight to the chase and said, "Village Chief, let's talk about the reservoir project."
