What Penny failed to realize early on was that no matter how long a beast ate weeds, once it tasted meat, it would always prefer meat. Letting him have a taste of what he did not know was akin to giving a drug to a sober man. He liked it, and now he wanted more.

He was hooked, bound to be obsessed with the high it gave him.

It amplified the thoughts running in his mind the entire morning while watching her work in the kitchen.

He wanted her.

He wanted all of her; not just their names together on a piece of paper, but her kisses, hugs, moans, body, heart, and even her soul. He wanted all of it. God, this was driving him insane.

With just one kiss, it was like poison, drawing out all the deepest, darkest, and most honest desires a man could have. He could barely restrain himself from ripping her clothes apart as they were on the way.
