Bab 34: Extra: Thoughts And Continuity
Okay, so I have been writing this story for around a month now, with release nearly everyday. I personally enjoy watching the Overlord series and similar animes, that is why I created this fan-fic. I have been thinking lately.
What will happen when the MC finally progresses to the end of the story and finally reaches level 100?
Will he fight gods? Will he fight Nazarick?
Well I don't personally like those ideas, this story is all about a skeleton that serves his master to the best of his ability, but independence sounds cool. Fighting gods would just overly power scale the novel, making it feel like some wuxia, and that's not why I created this novel. I kinda already power scaled a bit, but I don't want to overly cross the line when the world's best is some level 80 dragon.
So I have been thinking. When the story arcs in the Overlord universe come to an end in this novel, should I send the skeleton elsewhere? Let him refresh and restart with his built up maturity? Well I could always continue and write an arc that will not feel right, but sometimes things end. I do not want to drop this story after the end of all of the possible events, so I am considering after around chap 60-100 of sending the MC to another personal favourite anime world of mine.
If that happens, I will be changing the title to 'Skeleton Rising' or something very similar.
