Bab 2: Chapter 2
I went to washroom . I can't go out there and show like nothing has happened. I can't . I can't show that we are strangers or just friends . All the past memories are there , coming one by one . No no no . I can't let them win . I have to find out who have done this to me and my family. I have to be strong, for me ,for my family ...for them.
I went out . All are sitting in the couch,ready to play some type of games. Ugh ! these stupid party games. I have to hide somewhere. " Pari ,where have you been ? I was looking for you . Come ,we will now start game . ", Moon dragged me with her ,excitedly, without hearing me. All are ready to play with their drinks ,excitedly warching the host ,Solar ,spinning the bottle in the middle table . Truth and dare . The bottle stopped at Mina . " Mina ,so truth or dare ?" ,solar asked . " Dare ." ,Mina said . " Kiss Namjoon for 2 minutes straight. " hearing this all have cheered. Oh no ! This is the dirty version . No no no . Mina ,stood up ,confidently and went to Namjoon but as she was about to kiss him ... 'Ewwwwwwww." ,she threw up ,right in the face of Namjoon aka RM.
The time is flying away . All are playing and the game become dirty and dirty . I want to quit but the smirk on Mr.Jeon's face is making me furious. Silently, i was praying that the game end quickly without choosing me or a huge earthquake should come so that the game stops . Then ,a scream were heard again and poeple are cheering my name ,as i opened my eyes -"Holy F*ck" . The bottle is facing me and in my opposite it's Mr.Jeon . Solar asked ," truth or dare ?" ,. I am not ready for any kind of fishy questions ,so i choose dare ,it won't be that difficult, i guess . No no . What if they made me kiss Jungkook or any other guy . I should choose truth . " Miss Pari is confused ,i guess . Why don't we mix both truth and dare for her ?" , Taehyung said ,smirking. I was burning from inside but i have to be calm . "Oh not like that anything, actually-" ,as i was justifying my situation. " Actually, that is an unique idea." , Moon said . Ugh . I regret of having her as my friend . Solar said ," so pari , I dare you to answer all the questions honestly by .... " ,she was thinkjng of a name ,suddenly, " by Jungkook. ", again Taehyung interrupted. Why this boy is doing this to me . Solar -" ok done ."I can't back off now . Jungkook looked at me and his stare made me freeeze .
" so miss pari , are you honest ?" ,he said
" Yes, I am ."
" well, we'll know . So here's your first question. Are you virgin?"
"Yes . Purely. "
" Have you ever cheated someone?"
" No ,I haven't. "
"So , you were in relationship or are in a relationship, right ?"
" No , I wasn't nor I am ."
" How it feels to make one cry for you after ditching the person by sleeping with his own cousin on a day before your wedding ?"
That was a real shock for me and everyone else in the room . I couldn't process what was going on . I sat there like a statue. All the past memories, all the past wounds are being digged by someone . It hurts . Jennie said ,"Guys , what kind of question is that ? Don't bring someone's personal life here . " " What happened Miss pari or mrs Park ? You don't have any answer? Or are you regretting of coming to this party and loosing all your so called "good girl " image in front of everyone?" ,jungkook went on .
Moon said ," Jungkook ,ENOUGH! You don't know anything from her past ,okay ? Don't just assume things. "
Jungkook ," you lied to your bestfriend, too ? Just like you lied to ...."
"Excuse me " ,i ran from there as fast as i could . I can here Moon screaming my name , telling me to stop . But i didn't. I couldn't stand there anymore. The past is making me weak .
As i reached home , I let the tears ,that I was holding for so long, come down from my eyes. The things that happened 6 years ago is again coming in my life . The pain ,i was avoiding, again has came to me as a nightmare. Oh i can't bare with this . I pull out the photo of me with my family . I miss them .....miss the very much . Suddenly some shiny thing,in the sofa, caught my eyes . I picked it up. It's the clock that the old woman has given to me ,earlier the day . I open the clock and a tune begin to play . ( imagine the tune of I need you , piano version) The tune ... it's the tune that ... I get my heart sink . Why ,why all the memories are coming back to me ,making me weak . Why the woman gave me the clock . Wait .. her surname is Mrs Jeon , so is it possible to have any kind of relationship with him ? I have to find out . I looked at the wall clock , 4.15 am .. it's too early to go to morning walk and besides it's windy . I think ,i should sleep a bit and go to jogging at 5.30 .
I went to bathroom ,took a shower to cool down myself and to get relief from all these things . As i finished showering and went to bed , " An urgent meeting at 10. Be on time." - a message from director came . What a great start of the weekend!
9.30 am
I arrived the office 30 minutes earlier, as i barely could sleep . I went to the canteen to order a black coffee . Maybe coffee can help me to cure my sleepiness.
I was drinking coffee ,than , " Pari , you are here ?" I turned my head to the direction, and , " Irene ?" ,I was shocked to see tge face after 6 years . Wow ! All the past characters had a meeting, perhaps, to come to my life again and making it more horrible . Irene sat down on the chair ,in front of me . A bitchy smile plastered in her face . " well hello Miss pari . So you are here ,now , in this office ?", she said . " Yeah ." I responded.
" And what about all those old business? You know what i mean,right ?"
" Old things had been burried ,a long time ago . By the way, long time no see . So how have you been ?"
" Actually, i went to Sanghai , to sharp my skills more . You know , I love the job and don't wanna ditch it like you . Now i am working as the PA in Jeon's company. "
" Oh that's good . "
As we are having our fake smile conversation, " The meeting is going to start . Come to the conference hall "
" Irene , it's nice to meet you . But now i have to go . Hope to see you again ."
"Actually, me too have a meeting . So yeah . See ya later. "
Conference hall
"May I come in sir ?" ,I asked permission from the director to enter the room . " Yes , Pari . Have your seat ." He continued, " So today is not a office day , but something urgent has come up and I can't afford its loss . It's very much important for our company. So hope you all cooperate. " We all are listening to him ,then ,"knock knock " " Oh Mr. Jeon come come . So ,everyone ,this is Mr. Jeon ,the CEO of Jeon & company. Actually the company is mainly from Shanghai but now they are willing to create a branch in Seoul also . And this is his PA Kim Irene . Please have seat" Wtf - so now we are going to deal with his company. I hope director nim don't chose me for this project. " Mr. Jeon ,they are the best employees of our office . Each one of them ,has proved themselves to be the best in each successful projects . And for your dream work ,I guess ,they would be the most helpful employee ever . " Mr.Jeon nodded his head in response. "And this team will be leaded by Pari . She has performed so well in her career in a short period of time . " Shit shit shit !! "Pari , I guess , you don't have any problem with it." , head asked. Great !this is a chance .. I will make an excuse . Hope head will understand. "Actually, Director-nim ..." as I was about to say "Well then , Mr.Choi ,"jungkook suddenly spoke up "I will wait for your team tomorrow at sharp 10 AM in my office. Miss Pari, I don't like excuses... for being late . You know that right !" "Yes Mr.Jeon" I said ,sighing. "So meet you tomorrow....again", Jungkook said to me with an ....smirk! FUCK YOU JUNGKOOK!!
