Bab 169: Cecilia takes action

A wave of arrows rained down from the sky.

This is Harbinder's Snake's first attack.

Regardless of whether there is an enemy behind the closed town gate, Harbinder's Snake will use a rain of arrows as the first attack of the war.

A round of arrows fell. Harbinder's Snake did not hear the screams he imagined, but he heard some sounds similar to the breaking of glass, and the pop of arrows that seemed to hit solid wood. This strange sound made the mercenaries like Harbinder's Snake feel a little confused, because they couldn't see what was going on in the town, but it was enough for them to know that there was no one behind the town gate.

More than thirty mercenaries belonging to the epee unit worked together to pull up the ropes and lifted the temporary siege rams made from cut down trees and tied together. They then brought them to the gate of the town and began to swing the ropes, using the pendulum theorem. The strength bonus hit the town gate hard.
