Bab 34: (33) Baroque Works, A Pelicans in trouble!
(A/N: I'm not gonna lie, the first half of this chapter is filler lol though it's short; anyway hope you enjoy and I hope I get even a small laugh out of you, enjoy your day!)
[Kitt's POV]
"Hey! Captain, I'm going to explore this town a bit, I'll come back to the ship when the Log Pose resets and locks onto the next islands magnetism or whatever!" I shouted as I flew off.
"Wait! How the hell are you going to know when to come back!?-." Avery's voice cut off as I flew out of the range of hearing him.
Hahaha! Time to explore! We have so much time on out hands, why not use it?
A restaurant by the name of 'Jack's Diner' came into view as I flew throughout the town.
I am starving a bit, why not grab some grub. I hurriedly transformed back into my human form and walked inside the restaurant.
A woman who had a Nun's garment on approached me and said.
"Good evening guest! I'll guide you to your seat!" The waitress said as she started walking.
The restaurant seemed a little weird as there was nobody else here except for the workers, well more food for me!
I walked up to the table and sat down, the waitress stood next to me and spoke.
"Sir would you like to try our restaurants special?"
"Sure, what is it?"
"it's a surprise!" The waitress walked away as she said this.
That was weird, but how bad could it possibly be? I'm starving anything edible would be fine.
After about thirty minutes of waiting the waitress finally returned, a large bone filled with meat was laid down on a plate in front of me, making my mouth water.
"Thanks!" Getting straight to it, I picked up the bone filled with meat and took a large bite.
"Guys, he's digested it now; carry him out." The waitress beside me said as I looked up at her in confusion.
A second later my vision started to turn hazy and all I could see was darkness.

"W…ake…hi…up"
"Huff!" I suddenly jolted awake as freezing cold water was splashed on me.
"Huff, what the hell!? Why'd you splash freezing cold fucking water on me?!" I tried to get up but realized I was tied up.
"What the hell?! Why the hell am I tied up?!"
"Huhuhuhu, you came with that guy who had a bounty of thirty million! If our guys can't beat him up which I doubt they won't be able to, we'll just threaten him with you!" The waitress, or well I thought was a waitress shouted.
"Your a genius Miss Catherina!" Some lackey shouted.
"Yeah! What Mr. Beans said!" A bald headed muscular tall guy shouted in agreement.
"Fufufu, what can I say this guys just an idiot. There were a bunch of red flags!"
"H-hey! I won't take that disrespect, you put some sort of drug in the food! A man doesn't play about his food, I promise you'll pay for this!" I struggled to try to break out of the rope, but the rope only got tighter.
Hah, how am I supposed to become Aoki's husband if I can't even break out of a damn rope! I'm so damn weak!
If Avery wasn't with me back on Minion Island, I wouldn't have even been able to figure out that woman wasn't mom! I would've been deceived for who knows how long, simply because I'm too weak and dumb!
[Avery POV]
As we wrapped up fighting the Millions, one of them suddenly shouted.
"Wait! Wait! W-we've got your friend! T-the g-green haired kid!"
Aoki walked up to him, grabbed him by the shirt and said.
"What did you do with Kitt?! Where is he?!" Aoki sounded enraged.
The Million looked up and his eyes sparkled, he hurriedly spoke.
"I-I'll guide you if y-you spare me!" The Million smiled showing some spots that were missing teeth.
"Lets go." Law and Bepo said in unison. We followed the Million, and we soon stopped at a restaurant.
Don't tell me-
"H-he's in there!"
"Good, unfortunately your uses have run out night." Aoki punched the Million, knocking him out.
"How cruel, the poor guy really expected you to let him go." I said jokingly.
"I did, although I didn't say I'd let him go unscathed; hehehe!"
"Woah! My sister has become a trickster!" I said jokingly.
"What can I say, this appearance of mine has its uses." Aoki said as she opened the door to the restaurant, we followed behind her.
"Stop!" A woman in a Nun's garment shouted, a gun in her hand and it was aimed at the head of a green haired boy.
That boy obviously being Kitt. Kitt was tied up in some ropes, it looked pretty uncomfortable
"Enough of this." I used Conquerors haki to knock the woman out.
"Kitt, why didn't you just transform into your pelican form; I'm confident you could've escaped just fine."
"Really?" Kitt transformed into his pelican form and as I said, he got out of the tight ropes.
"Ha..ha, sorry." Kitt put his head down in a sad manner.
"Hey, don't get so depressed we don't need two Bepo's in the crew; I'll tell you a secret, Aoki was the first to interrogate the lackey she went all Batman on him hahaha."
Kitt's expression did a 180, he looked at Aoki in surprise.
"Really?"
"Hmph, yeah I did so what! Your apart of the crew so I had to!"
"Yay! Aoki doesn't completely hate me! Make this joyous day a holiday on the world calender!"
We all laughed in unison at that as we left the restaurant.
