After the captain fell, the remaining pirates naturally had no ability to resist and were taken down by Zyhark.
Even Bailey, who had sunk into the sea, was reluctantly rescued by Aqua, given another breath, and tied to the deck of the Endless Dream.
Since their goal was to meet Gecko Moria, regardless of how pathetic he might be ten years later, the title of Warlord of the Sea still held weight. When paying a visit, it's only proper to bring a gift.
Considering that Moria, who had recently expanded his forces, would likely not refuse this generous gift, the pirate incident ended with a punch from Kanna. The Black Snake Pirates were thoroughly terrified by this powerful strike, leaving them no choice but to obediently follow the Endless Dream, nervously awaiting their fate.
The crew of the sea restaurant continued their daily activities: Zyhark researched the development of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit and the Cliff Sword, Aqua and Kanna played games leisurely, King worked out in the corner, and Meowth returned to his workshop to design the second-generation machine blueprints.
In this calm atmosphere, the Endless Dream sailed towards its destination. Although there was no detailed address or Log Pose for Thriller Bark, the infamous Devil's Triangle was easy to locate and not far from the Sabaody Archipelago.
Two days of peaceful sailing passed.
During this time, three other pirate crews targeting their high bounties appeared, but they were all effortlessly taken down by Kanna, the one-punch woman. These small fries, who couldn't make it in the New World, had inflated ambitions despite their lack of strength.
This is the age of pirates; there are countless foolish idiots who set sail without a plan. As a result, the Endless Dream now had four pirate ships trailing behind it, each one distinct in style and size.
After two days of sunbathing on the deck, Bailey welcomed three new "friends" who shared his predicament. The four notorious pirates, each with bounties over ten million, exchanged regretful glances, lamenting their poor choices.
By noon on the third day after the Celestial Dragon incident was reported, a sea area shrouded in thick black fog appeared before the Endless Dream. It was filled with endless darkness that even sunlight couldn't penetrate, exuding an oppressive and dangerous aura.
Whether pirates, merchant ships, or even naval vessels, all would choose to avoid this area to escape the unimaginable horrors within. This was the infamous Devil's Triangle of the Grand Line.
"That sea area, it's the Devil's Triangle!" Bailey exclaimed from the deck.
After three days and two nights, he had lost all his supernova bravado, leaving only fear. "They say that no ship that enters that sea area ever comes out intact!"
"Please, Zyhark-sama, turn me over to the Navy. Take the thirty million bounty, it's yours!" A pirate captain who had only managed to survive by sheer luck was now desperately pleading.
While being imprisoned in the underwater prison might offer a slim chance of survival, entering the treacherous Devil's Triangle was a gamble with death. Even the captains were in such a state of fear, let alone the other pirates trailing behind.
As the pirates exchanged nervous glances, some quietly drew their weapons, ready to fight the sea restaurant crew. However, just as they were about to launch their desperate attack...
Boom! Boom! Boom! The powerful and steady sound of a heartbeat echoed across the sea, sending chills down their spines. The overwhelming pressure washed over them, quashing their fleeting courage.
Staring at the broad, imposing back of the man standing on the sea restaurant's deck, the pirates' breaths quickened, and their weapons clattered to the ground. There was no chance; their every move had been thoroughly anticipated by this man, rendering their actions laughable.
The thunderous heartbeat enveloping them was a stark warning from him.
Only now, the pirates finally noticed King, the man whose golden hair fluttered in the breeze, having been overshadowed by Kanna's might. This was the man who had fought the Fleet Admiral Sengoku head-on and emerged unscathed!
If their internal monologue had been heard by King, whose heart was racing from the sight of the dark sea, he would have sternly rebuked these souls for spreading false rumors! He was just an ordinary man who could barely lift a seventy-five-kilogram dumbbell!
"There, I sense many unclean things. Is it time for my divine magic to shine?" Aqua blinked her watery blue eyes, staring curiously at the pitch-black sea ahead.
Not fear, but rather, this long-lost instinct sparked a bit of motivation in the usually lazy goddess. Zyhark noticed Aqua's unusual excitement and began to ponder.
While Thriller Bark did contain countless zombie puppets created from shadows, these constructs were fundamentally different from the "monsters" Aqua knew. It was intriguing to see if Aqua's purification magic would work on them.
Since this journey posed no significant danger, Zyhark hadn't detailed Moria's powers or the Shadow-Shadow Fruit to his crew, preserving some mystery and battle experience.
"A sea area shrouded in mist, huh? I wonder if there are valuable materials here, meow?" Standing at the bow, Meowth looked serious, showing no signs of fear.
Having faced the most terrifying sea emperors, how could he fear mere black mist?
"Oh~ Maji Yabakunai."
Kanna lay on Zyhark's head, shading her eyes with her tiny hands from the glaring sunlight. Everything seemed novel and fascinating to her, having not been in the pirate world for long. It looked like a fun place to explore, perhaps with delicious food?
With their various reactions—calm, curious, fearful, or excited—the Endless Dream, followed by four pirate ships, sailed straight into the Devil's Triangle, navigating through the low-visibility black fog.
Due to the lack of sunlight, the climate within was cold and damp compared to other parts of the Grand Line. Every now and then, dilapidated, moss-covered shipwrecks came into view—pirate ships, merchant vessels, luxury liners, and even rusted naval warships!
The trailing pirates were on edge, jumping at every little noise. In this unnaturally silent environment, the constant engine roar ahead oddly reassured them. Even former enemies seemed to guide them safely through this treacherous sea.
The pirates on the four trailing ships were deeply moved, their perception of King subtly shifting. Of course, the thick mist on the sea could obscure their vision but not Aqua's divine eyes, Meowth's cat eyes, or Zyhark's electromagnetic waves.
Soon, within just half an hour of entering the Devil's Triangle, Zyhark precisely locked onto a tattered sailboat emitting faint "human" vibes.
"That sound?"
Catching the faint piano music from the ship, Zyhark furrowed his brows before relaxing.
Unexpectedly, before finding Thriller Bark, they had encountered this interesting guy...
With the location confirmed, under Zyhark's direction, the Endless Dream swiftly approached the target, pushing through the thick waves. As the distance closed to less than three meters, the tattered sailboat came into clear view.
As if sensing someone approaching, the eerie piano music that had spooked the pirates abruptly ceased. After a brief silence, a skull with a large afro emerged from the moss-covered, barnacle-encrusted ship.
"Ahhhhh! It appeared!!!"
The pirates cried out, their expressions contorting in fear.
"Haha! It really appeared. Although it's sudden, please prepare to ascend to heaven, you undead bastard!"
Amid the growing engine roar and the rising cries of fright, a gleeful cackle echoed. Radiating divine light, Aqua swung her goddess staff, her robe fluttering as she amassed divine power.
"Divine Purification!"
Boom! The brilliant divine radiance pierced through the dense fog, creating a grand spectacle as it blasted the afro-wearing skeleton!
