Vulcan stood at the water's edge, staring at the ship that would take him to his new destination—Sabaody Archipelago. The weight of the Rear Admiral's coat felt heavier than he expected. He was being sent there temporarily, on Sengoku's orders, and he knew this wasn't just a simple reassignment—it was a test.

But before he could leave, there was one more person he had to inform.

Garp was already waiting for him by the harbor, a large bag of crackers in hand, munching away as always. His grin was wide, as if he knew something Vulcan didn't.

"Oi, old man," Vulcan called out. "I'm heading to Sabaody for some temporary work. Thought I'd let you know."

Garp's grin only grew wider. He shoved another handful of crackers into his mouth, chewing loudly before responding. "Gahahaha! You think I didn't already know, brat?!"

Before Vulcan could react, Garp's massive fist came crashing down on his head, sending him stumbling forward.

"You little punk!" Garp bellowed with laughter. "Next time, don't wait until the last second to tell me!"

Vulcan rubbed the growing lump on his head, glaring at his grandfather. "Ow… What's wrong with you?! I was just—"

"Just what?!" Garp interrupted with another booming laugh. "Gahahaha! Don't go soft on me in Sabaody, kid. That place isn't like Marineford! It's a jungle of pirates, bounty hunters, and those damn Celestial Dragons. Keep your head on straight, or you'll regret it."

"Yeah, yeah," Vulcan grumbled, still nursing his head. "I'll be fine. It's just for a while, anyway."

Garp's expression turned more serious as he stood up straight, his broad shoulders casting a shadow over Vulcan. "Just remember, brat, Sabaody's dangerous in ways that even New World pirates don't compare. Watch yourself."

With a final slap on Vulcan's back that nearly sent him tumbling into the harbor, Garp grinned again and waved him off. "Good luck, Rear Admiral! Don't make me look bad out there!"

Vulcan muttered under his breath, turning away as he boarded the ship bound for Sabaody. Garp's words echoed in his mind, but he brushed them aside for now. Sabaody was just another step in his journey.

The Sabaody Archipelago came into view as the ship approached the island, the giant mangrove trees towering over the landscape with bubbles floating lazily through the air. Vulcan stood at the bow, watching the strange beauty of the place unfold before him. But beneath the surface, he knew it was a chaotic mix of pirates, Marines, and criminals. The air had an uneasy tension to it, as if something could explode at any moment.

As the ship docked, Vulcan stepped off, greeted by a bustling harbor filled with merchants, Marines, and civilians. His Marine coat fluttered behind him as he made his way toward the Marine branch office, only to be met by the residing Rear Admiral.

The man had a wide grin on his face as he shook Vulcan's hand with enthusiasm. "Welcome to Sabaody, Rear Admiral Vulcan! It's good to see some fresh blood around here!"

Before Vulcan could reply, the Rear Admiral gave him a quick, distracted salute. "Unfortunately, I've got some pressing matters to attend to—can't stay and chat! But you're in good hands!" And with that, he was gone, running off before Vulcan could ask anything further.

Vulcan blinked, watching the man disappear into the crowds. "That was… abrupt."

A few minutes later, the Commodore, second-in-command, strolled up, his posture relaxed and casual, almost too casual for Vulcan's liking. He gave Vulcan a lazy salute before leading him to the Marine headquarters. The Commodore had an easy-going air about him, and it didn't take long for Vulcan to notice the lack of discipline among the Marines stationed there.

As they entered the headquarters, Vulcan's eyes narrowed. Marines were lounging about, some sleeping, others playing cards. There was no sense of urgency or discipline. The entire atmosphere felt… lazy.

One of the Marines, a cocky-looking lieutenant, stood up and gave Vulcan a scrutinizing look. "So, you're the new Rear Admiral, huh? You still look as if you drink from your mother's bust, and you're supposed to lead the Sabaody branch?"

"I am sure we have some warm milk around here"

"Hahahaha"

"Hahahaha"

"Hahahaha"

The room went into an uproar, the lazy chatter dying down as the lieutenant's challenge hung in the air. Vulcan could feel all eyes on him, waiting to see how he'd respond. He glanced at the Commodore, who merely whistled and looked away, pretending to be innocent. It was clear the Commodore had no intention of stopping this.

Vulcan turned back to the lieutenant and his crew, his expression unreadable. He didn't say anything for a moment, letting the tension build. Then, in his mind, a single thought: I'm going to enjoy this.

Without a word, Vulcan stepped forward, cracking his knuckles. The message was clear—no speeches, no arguments. Only action.

The lieutenant didn't back down, throwing the first punch. But Vulcan was already gone, moving faster than the man could blink. With a blur of Soru, Vulcan appeared behind the lieutenant and delivered a swift kick to his legs, sending him crashing to the floor. Before the man could recover, Vulcan was already dismantling the next Marine with a series of strikes using Tekkai and Shigan, making sure each blow landed with just enough force to hurt but not seriously injure.

One by one, the Marines tried to attack, but Vulcan countered every move with effortless precision. His Rankyaku cleaved through the air, sending some of them flying, while others were left on the ground, groaning in pain.

The Commodore watched from the sidelines, grinning as he leaned against the wall. "You've got some fire in you, huh? Can't say I didn't expect this." But he was in for a surprise.

unfortunately for him, Vulcan didn't stop until every Marine in the room had been thoroughly beaten. Even the Commodore wasn't spared, despite his casual attitude. A swift punch to the gut left the Commodore gasping for air, though he took it with more humor than the rest.

"Ahhh"

"Mommy"

"That bastard"

"He kicked me in the nut" mumbled one of the marines as he held onto his private area with

When it was over, Vulcan stood in the center of the room, barely breaking a sweat. The once-cocky lieutenant was on the floor, groaning, while the rest of the Marines sat nursing their bruises.

The Commodore, now sporting a black eye and a few bruises himself, staggered to his feet and handed Vulcan a stack of papers. His grin was still intact, despite the beating. "Well, Rear Admiral, here's the report on the current situation of Sabaody. Could've warned us you were this tough."

Vulcan took the papers with a brief glance at the Commodore. "I'm not here to warn people."

As Vulcan scanned the report, his mind already turned toward the real task at hand: bringing order to Sabaody. The chaotic state of the Marines here was only the beginning, but he knew that the real challenges lay beyond the walls of the Marine base.

The Commodore, still rubbing his bruised face, chuckled. "Gotta say, this might be fun with you around."

Vulcan, not sharing the sentiment, merely focused on the work ahead. The real fight was just beginning.

Bring me a denden mushi, I wish to speak with fleet admiral Sengoku. Though surprised the commodore by the name of Ian compiled, after a few minutes, Ian brought the denden mushi and conveniently Sengoku was already waiting for Vulcan.

"I knew you would call as soon as you knew the current situation of Sabaodey" Said Sengoku.

"That's right, I only have one question, how much authority do I have in here." Whithout hesitating Sengoku replied "Do as you wish, just don't get into trouble with the celestial dragons"

Hearing this Vulcan's face turned into a sinister smile, "Don't worry Sir, I will make them will more safe here then Marie Jois, Hehehehe"

Hearing this Sengoku already felt a headache coming, "If you get caught, even the marines will not be able to protect you"

Vulcan's face returned to neutral as he replied, "I will do my best don't worry Sir"

And so the call ended.
