Third Person's P.O.V
"Vreihya!" Mino exclaimed as he plunged into the shallow water. His gaze was drawn to the young lady, but he did not see her. Darkness surrounded him, although light shone solely on him.
He couldn't help but be pleased by the clarity of the water, which was only up to his knees. He could clearly see his reflection in the water, which was slightly moving due to his splashing.
He was slightly stunned in the water after hearing faint whispers. He looked at it for a few seconds, waiting for the water on which he was standing to cease moving. "Mino," he was taken aback by the voice that called his name.
"Have you forgotten everything?" questioned the voice he recognized coming from the water where he stood. When he heard what sounded like a wailing voice, he took a step back. With shock, he recognized that cry.
"Mom?" he called, his gaze fixed on the crystal clear water. After a few seconds, he noticed that his reflection was no longer visible in the water, but rather the image of his mother. Her dark, mournful eyes met his.
"Mino! Why did you forget everything?" his mother sobbed, blue paint streaming from her eyes. Mino called out to his mother again, but a furious expression appeared to change her eyes after a few moments.
She rubbed her eyes furiously, causing the paint to spread. Mino was perplexed as to why he was seeing this in the image of his mother.
"If you can't recall, I'll remind you!" she screamed fiercely, and Mino's eyes widened as his mother violently emerged from the water, grabbed him by the neck, and dragged him full force into the clear water.
He struggled instantly owing to the slump of his entire body and successfully escaped his mother's grasp. He frantically forced himself up as he gathered his breath, but even before he could recover from the shock, he was overwhelmed in astonishment.
He looked around and seemed to be thinking about where he was. He gazed around at the enormous bath tub where he was standing. He leaned against the tiled wall of the spacious shower room.
With its exquisite design, he can't go wrong. He gazed in the wide mirror above the sink, where he habitually brushed his teeth. He recognized the towel he always used.
Because of his conflicting emotions, he simply clung to his senses. "Mino? You've been in there for a while; come out now," his mother called softly from outside the shower room's wide door.
"Yes, mommy! I'm out!" He stared at the source of the noise as the glass door opened, which was full of steam and couldn't be seen inside. His younger self emerged from there with a towel over his lower body and a towel off the clothesline, which he used to gently blot his damp hair.
Mino chuckled slightly as he glanced in the mirror since he couldn't dispute that he was quite attractive even when he was young. He got out of the bath tub and walked beside his younger self as he dried his hair in front of the mirror.
"If I have a son, I swear to God he will be this handsome," he boasted to himself, placing his left palm on top of the sink and gazed at the boy. "Mom! Let me pick my clothes! You don't have to do it! I am much older now!" the boy said sweetly as he approached the door.
Mino followed himself, and his large room instantly opened up to him. He suddenly inhaled in the air coming from the wide window in front of his large bed, as though relieved to be able to return to this world.
"Mom! You should let me do that!" sneered the young Mino as he approached his mother, who was setting out the clothes he was going to wear on his bed. "But you're still my baby Mino; let mommy do this while you're still young," his mother replied as she took the boy's towel and began thoroughly drying his hair.
"I am no longer a baby, mom; I am nine years old! I am a big boy now," he softly argued to his mother. "Oh my! Are you already a big boy when there's still soap left below your ear?" his mother laughed as she wiped the child's ear, and the child was slightly stunned.
"You're a big boy, yet you still cries when you tumbles? You still ask for mommy when you hear rustling at night, and then you still wants to play chase with daddy?" his mother teased, tickling his side, which made him giggle.
Mino can't help but smile as the scenario plays in front of him. He missed his parents terribly, despite the fact that he couldn't deny harboring a resentment towards them. He will never forget scenes like this one, which fill him with warmth and love every day.
If you ask him, his childhood was the best. Yes! He was born with a golden spoon, but it is not the lavish lifestyle that he appreciates. It's all about how much his parents loved and cared for him despite the fact that he's not perfect and makes stupid mistakes.
Now he seemed to want to go to his mother and give her a tight embrace. He missed his parents, especially because it had been a long time since he had seen them. He became concerned as he considered what was happening to his parents while he stays in the realm of the princess.
Something seemed to yank in his chest as he evaluated his want to see his parents again, but he doesn't want to leave the princess alone. Their two worlds appear to be evident in his head now. He was deep in thoughts when he heard the large door open and his father walk in.
"Daddy!" The young Mino ran cheerfully and motioned to be lifted by his father, which he did. "Oh big boy," his mother chuckled as she watched the two precious men in her life. "You smelled so nice, Iho; are you ready?" the father inquired excitedly.
The toddler joyfully nodded as his father extended his left hand, which his wife gladly accepted and gripped warmly. His father softly kissed his mother's hand, causing her cheeks to flush.
Mino smiled once more when he saw that humble but sincere action. He can't wait to return and do the same to his princess. He also wants to clasp his hands around her and give her the most tender kiss he can muster.
He wishes to let his actions speak for his heart because he is aware that the princess is not fond of empty words but rather true actions of authenticity. Never in his life had he imagined himself more eager to see a vampire as he was now.
But he couldn't help but be upset because he couldn't wait to see Vreihya but also wanted to go home and embrace his parents. The fact that they live in different worlds appears to be dawning on him now.
"They're savages, right dad?" Mino blinked, and everything around him altered. It is no longer his room, but rather a dark room with a giant flat screen in front of it. There is a row of five seats facing the flat screen TV that looks like a movie theater.
If he's not mistaken, this is the room where his parents frequently watch movies. This room was designed expressly for that purpose. "That's their nature, Mino," his father replied to his question.
Mino turned to gaze at the movie that was playing on the huge screen. It's a vampire film that shows the worst aspects of vampires and the like. "Their primary aim is to suck blood and feast on us humans!" his father added.
"What do you do when you see a monster?" his mother said, pointing to the bloodthirsty vampire in the movie they were watching. "Run for help!" exclaimed the young Mino, as if answering an oral exam.
Mino immediately took a deep breath and observed all that was going on. His parents instilled in him a deep aversion to vampires at a young age. They are implicitly warning him about vampires since they know that one day they will take him away from them.
He stepped out of the gloomy room, and the large library of their mansion opened up to him. He noticed the enormous assortment of bookcases, which were all loaded with books about vampires and how vicious they were.
He knew this because he had practically finished all of this reading at such a young age. He noticed the large reading table in the right corner of the room, which still had a book open on it.
He approached it and promptly raised it to read it. "They are emotionless creatures; they lack the ability to feel love or even be worthy of genuine affection," he read aloud the word that seemed to be recalled most by whoever read it last due to the red mark encircling the statement.
He immediately questioned what was written, remembering how Vreihya cared for her people and how they loved her back. His memory of Vreihya fighting the stinging agony for Kypper because of the magical powder flashed back to him.
"Vreihya isn't emotionless; she's unselfish and sincerely loves those around her, and I hope he feels the same way about me," Mino gently mumbled to himself. "She may be harsh at times, but her eyes tell the contrary; she is caring and a cry baby," he continued, recalling how easily Vreihya tears up.
While raising his brow, he flicked the book and read the author's name. "You're not sure," Mino said, as if the author could hear him. "How can you tell?" he asked, closing the book furiously and tossing it on the table.
He'll never forget this book because it's what he was reading when he met the princess in his room for the first time. The first day, he felt a peculiar pain in his chest and was terrified when he noticed the princess's unusual colored eyes.
He was in the midst of such a thought when he was shocked by the enormous door's rapid opening. When he saw his mother with evil eyes, he was taken aback. Because the blue paint she smeared was clearly apparent when it poured out of her eyes, she was the image he saw before.
"Why did you forget everything!" his mother shouted violently as more blue paint poured out of her teary eyes. Mino couldn't help but feel terrified as both sides of his mother's lips were gradually torn.
As she approached him, blood gushed freely from her mouth. "You have no right to love a monster!" she yells, her voice becoming scratchy as she cries.
Mino appears to be feeling shivers from what he is seeing, yet his mother's fingernails appear to be growing longer. Mino could hear his mother's bones shattering in her body as she neared. As she got closer to her son, her body began to distort.
But it came to a halt and looked back. When he saw his father, it looked as though his entire being grew frigid, and his father also had a large cut on his mouth. Its neck was swollen with blood from the flow of blood out of his mouth.
But when he saw what his father was carrying on his arms, he became even more terrified. His father approached him and violently let go of the body he was bearing. Mino clenched his fist as he realized who the corpse in front of him was as its lifeless eyes glared at him.
He saw the princess's cold and lifeless body, with two bullet holes in her forehead. What he saw seemed to jolt his body. Vreihya is staring at him blankly, as there is a strong force trying to escape from his body.
He began to feel some nerves tingling around his neck. As his sharp claws began to burrow into his palm, he felt a stinging sensation. As he sensed a dark aura flowing from his body, his eyes became as sharp as they could be. Her pupils slitted like a python's, and his teeth sharpened instinctively.
Every aspect of his body craves blood and longs to break something with his grip. All of his senses were heightened as he could hear everything from a single dropping leaf outside the window to the distant vibration of a bee's wings.
Something inside him awakened as he glanced at the lifeless body of the princess he most desired to hold. With that dreadful glance from him, the two beasts stared at him, feeling the imminent death.
"You fucked up!" he said coldly, and he dashed behind the two creatures, holding both of their slaughtered heads in both of his hands. As the two headless bodies slumped on the cold floor, a loud thud filled the room.
