A being that was born to basically just be a vessel of a god is a tragic fate. Adrian knows this because the two twins Vida and Mortem told him when they were talking about the Twin Gods. The twins also knew that should the Twin Gods need vessels when the world is truly in danger then they would sacrifice their lives for the world.

Adrian felt extremely sad at that statement which is why he did not forbid the two to wander off in the territory. The good side to this is that they would live a normal life as long as the gods that have them as vessels do not descend. This is one of the reasons why Adrian does not want the world to suddenly increase in strength limit.
