"Well, I guess you must be the leader of the group, or am I wrong?" Sokka commented with his hand resting on her chin and she nodded.
"No, you're not wrong," Suki responded without looking at him, and seeing that Sokka intended to continue the conversation, "No more questions for today."
Sokka was left with a raised eyebrow, but he smiled internally. He anyway told everything he wanted to know about them, well he already knew it.
Then, they entered a kind of booth, "Sir, sir, the avatar came to visit us!" one of the warriors pointed at Aang, who picked his nose.
"The avatar?" The man spoke, surprised, looking at the bald boy. Aang realizing this made a air ball in his hands, "Oh!"
"Do you see it sir?" another Kyoshi warrior commented.
"Gather the boys, this is great news for Kyoshi Island. No, for the whole world rather," the man commented enthusiastically.
"I'll ask for some discretion," Sokka stepped forward seriously, "There are enemies out there and it's not a good idea for them to know about Aang."
"Oh, I understand, it's true," the man scratched his beard, "Then it will only be something for the island people."
Sokka nodded calmly at that and then the girl came out to deliver the news. Katara looked at this, a little reluctant at this idea.
_____________
The island was filled with happiness knowing that the savior of the world had returned. This made Aang start to like being the avatar, because they treated him well, and with favors.
Katara followed him from a short distance, since Aang was always surrounded by people. But as soon as she saw a space, she pulled at his sleeve, dragging him away.
"What's wrong Katara?" the avatar asked.
"What's wrong? Aang, this isn't about being famous, it's about saving the world," Katara replied, looking at him, "You shouldn't act like that."
"How so? For the first time I feel good being the avatar." Aang extended his arms to the sky, "People adore me, don't you see, Katara?"
"I don't like what I see Aang, I'm going to go buy some things" Katara turned around, with a disappointed face at the behavior.
Aang became thoughtful, but immediately a circle formed around him and any trace of doubt on his face was instantly erased.
Meanwhile, Sokka was finishing completing the daily quest, exactly its ten kilometers.
"It's not so difficult for me anymore haha"
After several days her body was getting used to this. He was already getting toned, although he still had a long way to go.
"Ha, ha, ha!"
Sokka heard some screams in a nearby booth, and when he looked through the door he saw that it was Suki training with a pair of fans.
"Haven't you been taught that it's very rude to snoop?" Suki asked without looking at him.
"No, they haven't taught me that honestly," Sokka commented, smiling and began to analyze his steps, "Well, you don't train badly at all, huh?"
"Just because the avatar has returned doesn't mean I should neglect my training," Suki said.
"We agree on that, Aang will not save the world alone" Sokka answered, crossing his arms and the warrior stopped to look at him.
"How strange, I thought you would hide behind the avatar" Suki blurted out those mocking words.
"I'm the leader of the group, although I could also say that you hide behind your warriors, right?" Sokka turned the situation around.
Suki looked at him defiantly, now she was speechless. She bit her lower lip helplessly and continued training with the fans.
But suddenly, and without warning, Sokka threw the boomerang towards Suki's legs, causing the girl to fall to the ground.
"Are you crazy?!" Suki demanded angrily and lashed out at him. Sokka was confident, and this was because the boomerang was coming back.
He headed back towards Suki's legs, but the girl surprisingly jumped up and kicked Sokka's chin in one fast, fantastic move.
Sokka fell and without giving him time to breathe, Suki extended her leg to step on him but the boy rolled several times until he recovered, "That was wow."
"And that's not all I know how to do," Suki declared confidently, although she had to admit that Sokka didn't move badly, "You're better than I expected."
"I'll take that as a compliment," Sokka commented with his eyebrow raised, smiling.
"It's a compliment," Suki said, smiling.
And just when they were going to continue with the sparring, another Kyoshi warrior arrived, "Suki, there are problems, two unidentified ships arrived on the beach."
"Fire Nation?" Suki asked.
________________
"So this is Kyoshi Island," a fat looking man dressed in a Fire Nation outfit, "Now what do you feel, Prince Zuko?"
"I feel like it's time to regain my honor," responded the young man next to him, who had a part of his face burned. He was the prince of the fearsome fire nation.
The Prince Zuko.
