The kitchen was on the right, featuring a long wooden cabinet without doors, just white lace curtains hanging in front. Zhou Ning glanced at it, noting that the cabinet inside was still there, covered in a thick layer of dust, completely empty.
One didn't need to think too hard to know that many people had come searching. Any place that seemed fit to hide things would have been thoroughly searched, probably taken away for examination long ago.
Zhou Ning didn't enter the kitchen. The living room sofa was in tatters, springs and sponge spilling out from the sides and face, all rusty. The back cover of the television was gone, and the cabinet below the TV and the coffee table were both empty.
