Bab 51: 51: Worth all your troubles

"Zephevi, wait, " Laith called out. 

I ignored him and kept walking. The word monster flows out of his lips so easily. I understand that Ywain and Xerek do terrible things most of the time but they don't deserve to be labelled as monsters. 

The terms get me all torn up. I walked into the hallway to find Ywain leaning against the wall. He heard me arriving and opened his eyes and looked at me. 

"Has it been fun to play me for a fool? " he asked. Without giving me a chance to explain he walked away. I rushed to catch up to him. 

It wasn't my intention to omit the truth from him. I knew how upset he'd get when he came to learn that I remembered my feelings for Laith. I was hoping the truth would stay hidden forever for peace to reign.

Being torn between people that matter to me is hard. Keeping with everyone is becoming impossible by the minute. It seems no matter where I choose to stand someone is bound to get hurt.
