A loud 'CRASH' was heard as Chen Yao swept the ceramic bowl on the higher stool beside the Top seat in her common room seconds after the Kitchen maids left after delivering a bowl of nutritious soup from the Empress. 

Her maid Liang dropped the cloak lying on her arm and rushed to her mistress's sides, "Your highness! Please be careful, you are in a delicate condition right now. According to the Imperial Physician, your condition is not yet stable you should avoid doing strenuous activities."

Chennai glared at the little maid and shook her off, "Let go of me", she stood and rushed down the small steps leading to the top sear. "How many times do I have to humour Xia Ying. We will see how long she could keep her position now that her Grandfather is dead. The Xia family are already one foot in_ Ah!"
