Hannah flipped over in Arnold Simmons' arms, lazily opened her eyes, "I have to go to work."
Arnold lowered his head and planted a kiss on her face, "If you're tired, sleep a little more."
Hannah shook her head, sat upright in the man's arms, laughed sweetly at him, "How am I going to support you if I don't work?"
Arnold recalled his darling girl boasting about supporting him in the past.
She was as capricious as ever.
He played along with her, "It would cost too much to support me, I'm afraid you'll work yourself to death."
She shook her head, leaned into him and wrapped her arms around his neck. She pinched his face, satisfaction filled her twinkling eyes, "It's okay, you're so good-looking, it's worth spending any amount."
Teresa Gordon was knocking on the door outside, but this time her knocks were much more urgent, "Hannah, are you awake? Respond!"
Arnold grabbed Hannah's swinging foot and put her shoes on.
