Bab 129: Chapter 129: Living Together

Hannah's face stiffened, straining at the corners of her mouth, but couldn't muster a smile. All she could do was pretend to be angry, bent over, and pinched the little boy's clean face, sternly saying, "You're so articulate, you'd be great at raising frogs in the future."

After she finished speaking, she withdrew her hand.

Just as the little boy was about to say something, Hannah took a phone call. Her expression changed abruptly, clumsy with the fan in her hand, mumbling an apology, "I didn't forget, I seriously did not forget. I was out because... well, I was doing a good deed... Seriously, I wasn't lying, I'll be there soon…"

As her voice and silhouette gradually distanced, the little boy stood dumbfounded at the doorstep, staring for a long while until a policewoman called him back to his senses.

The little boy suddenly asked, "Officer, do girls mind dating younger boys?"

Caught off guard, the policewoman responded, considering the boy's feelings, "Not at all."
