Bab 1: Chapter One
My name is Kim Himari, I am in my junior year in high school. My parents died in a car crash when I was little, they went over a bridge one night when they were supposed to pick me up from dance practice. It was 2 years ago, I was forced to see a counselor at first and eventually I stopped going as things progressed with my uncle. He isn't like that all the time, he is nice to me sometimes so it isn't all bad. I no longer dance for many reasons including its hard to dance when you are being beaten a lot and can barely walk and breathe most times.
"Piece of shit, why can't you ever do anything right?" My uncle yells as he continues to kick me in the ribs repeatedly. He then grabs me by the throat slinging more horrible words at me. When he was finally finished he left the house and I got up to start cleaning up the mess. The pain everywhere had me sobbing but I knew that if I didn't get it cleaned before he came home then it would be worse before school.

After I got done cleaning I decided to try and take a bath to soothe my bruised body. While in the bath I got to thinking maybe tomorrow will be better. I mean he isn't always like this, just sometimes happens and maybe I deserve it. I'm worthless anyway, and I do not have anyone. After the bath I get dressed in a big sweater and go to bed.
After waking up I get ready for school and get out the door before my uncle knows what happened. I do not eat most days, I eat basically just enough to stay a live and when my uncle is being the nice version of himself. I do not have any friends at school and if anything I get bullied there too. As I get to the school building I keep my head down and get to my locker and get my stuff then get to my first class as fast as possible. I sit in the back head down hoping nobody will notice me. It seems to work because I get through the first two classes fine and unnoticed. Then comes P.E. I always hate P.E.
I am the only girl that wears the long pants and t-shirt because of the bruises. There are the popular girls in this class too. The class appears to go on like normal where we are playing dodgeball. I get hit in the back of the head and you can just hear the girls giggling and after a few attempts I get up successfully and we continue the game unbothered. Once we are finished the boys play and I just go and hide in a spot I can just disappear until its over and we can change. The popular boys are ATEEZ and I only know about one of them and that's Yunho. He was my best friend when we were little but after my parents died I pushed him away and so we don't talk. He has ATEEZ now anyway he doesn't need me anymore.
After P.E. we got a chance to change and before we got a chance to change one of the popular girls Aiki and her clique surround me. 'This probably wont be good' I thought to myself. She looks at me and goes "Why does Yunho oppa always looks at you! He is mine! Keep your loser self away!" as she slaps me hard making me fall to the floor. "here maybe this will make you remember" she says as she stomps on my wrists until we hear something pop. I cry out in pain. They all kick me some more then leave. I lay there sobbing for awhile and I hear a "Himari....is that you?" Its Yunho of course its him. I cry a bit longer and hope that he leaves, I get up crying about my mangled wrist. I don't bother getting dressed back into my clothes and just go out and run into Yunho. He sees me audibly upset, and demands me to look at him. "What happened to your face?, what about your wrist?" He grabs me and picks me up and starts going towards the nurse's office. "Yunho put me down, I don't need you to help me. You haven't cared the last 2 years why start now?" I say in frustration tears flowing. He looks hurt by what I said but keeps going "I know...I'm sorry, I just let things happen and stop trying and I am so so sorry Himari." I just look at my legs while he is carrying me and let there be silence.
We finally got to the nurse's office and after much deliberation she says I need to go to the hospital for x-rays and Yunho offers to take me and she gets a pass for school for the both of us so we do not get in trouble. She also told me she is going to call my uncle so that is going to be bad for me. An uncomfortable ride with Yunho should be so much fun, he is going to ask about my face and what happened to my wrist. I can't wait.
