Bab 138: Words of the Past (1)

Everything happened so fast that even Sthena who was standing beside Perdita could only stretch his hand wanting to grab her hand to stop her from falling into or being pulled into whatever was created there.

He watched his empty outstretched hand before him that did not have even a strand of Perdita's hair.

"What just happened?" Daemon voiced his confusion that Sthena was too speechless to utter. "Did she just fall into space or did she enter the room?" He continued to ask no one in particular.

"I think it is the doing of the witches," Sthena replied, having understood why Perdita was pulled into wherever she was.

Daemon unaware of the things the witches were planning to do quizzed in confusion, "What do you mean the witches? I thought they were only curing the boy?"

"No," Sthena shook his head. "They are planning to take both of them away. Perdita and Marco. They think they are the green-eyed siblings they are looking for."
