Bab 53: Chapter 53: The Academy Dorms.

During the elevator's ascent, the students quietly admired the view of the entire underground facility. Compared to their post-apocalyptic world in ruins, it was genuinely breathtaking.

"It's amazing, I wonder what we're going to see next..." Lyra mused softly.

"Yeah," Ava responded, her enthusiasm lagging. 

Unlike Lyra, Ava's attention was on Julius and Ruby, who remained silent and somewhat shy beside her.

'Those bite marks on his neck... as I thought, they were Ruby's. I don't want to bring it up since they're not mentioning it, but I'm a little worried. Is it truly safe to be bitten by a Vampire?' Ava pondered. 

She was concerned she might be overreacting but she couldn't ignore the ominous reputation of vampires. Even though Ruby had helped them, if being bitten posed risks for Julius, she wouldn't stand idly by.

'I can't ask her here and now, though... I'll have to wait.' Ava shifted her attention to her palms and narrowed her eyes.
