"Lucas, should we go to the market?" Imani asked, getting worried that Nikolay wasn't back yet, but Lucas didn't respond and she looked up at Lucas' face. "Lucas..." she called out softly when she saw that shock was written all over his face as he stared straight ahead and she followed his line of sight to the couple that had entered the tavern.

She squinted at them before her eyes widened as she recognized them as the people she had seen in a painting in the art studio in Lucas' house... Lucas' parents. "Oh my God," she muttered under her breath as the man and woman sat at the table next to them which the unruly men had vacated. The both of them looked really happy and she wondered if they had been as happy as this back in their time. She still didn't know how they had died.
