Bab 3: Communication is Good Pt3

Mars was a being of immeasurable power, almost entirely uncontested in the cosmos and even more so in the void. It went without saying that he was informed of every change in his creation, from the deal of a star down to the breath of a child.

So, as one could imagine, it came as a bit of a shock when he felt nothing from the human standing before him. 'Standing' being a relative phrase, the river of souls had mangled the poor boy beyond recognition as it often did to those who would soon meet the domain of hades. Instead, Gen had crafted the child of humanity a temporary soul of stars, like a flowing mass of light and life, bursting at the seams with no choice but to stay coiled under the surface of the 'skin'.

It was slightly unnerving, but he could work with that.

"...of all the utter BULLSHI-" Mars twisted his human face into the closest thing that resembled a smile to try and draw the boy's attention away from the cursing god.

'While can't say that I fully understand everything that Gen does, I can certainly give you an idea of where he plans on sending you seeing as there is only one place he can send you.'

Still tuning out the raging being behind him and the sound of glass shattering- he didn't even want to know where the glass had come from- he contemplated how to inform the child before him of his world.

'My world, my creation if you will, is rather unique compared to where you likely came from. There are beings of great power and those even greater above them. Its... difficult to explain the inner and finer workings of the universe due to how... fickle the rules of the world can be at times. For example, sometimes-'

"FUCK OFF MARS I'M DOING THE EXPOSITION"

Am ice-cold hand gripped his human face and launched him across the room with enough force to place a star out of orbit. It was a simple act to bend the laws of space and right himself before he landed on the 'ground' but...

'...why?'

Gen promptly ignored him and turned to face their guest who looked more shocked now than he did when he had arrived here in the first place. Understandably so, but still.
