The Solar Blood Field expanded. Colliding with the projectiles and snapping half outright. The rest pushed for gaps and openings, hundreds flying through the gaps and surrounding Mithras' neck.

Here, Mithras opened his eyes, firing an omni-dimensional flash of solar rays that reduced the incoming bolts to crumbling sparks. The temperature of his solar flames rose alongside his shine, climbing so high that the first line of white-stone angels melted into molten rocks.
