The speed of the shockwave exceeded the speed of sound by hundreds of times, covering thousands of kilometres in just a few seconds, obliterating everything in its path.

The dry ground crumbled like fragile glass, shattering into countless pieces. Billions of tons of rock and soil were swept along with the shockwave, forming a natural tsunami of debris that looked as if the end of the world was coming.
