Bab 170: Long Yu’s Sincere Confession

Looking at Yao Ran's stubborn face, Long Yu sighed. He gently stroked her cheek and helplessly said, "Ran Ran, I will never hurt you."

Yao Ran frowned and said, "I know you won't hurt me."

In order to protect her, he even dared to sacrifice his own life. If someone told her that Long Yu would hurt her now, she wouldn't believe it.

"Then why did you run away from me?" Long Yu asked, with a hint of grievance in his voice.

Hearing this, Yao Ran raised her head and said, "I didn't! I–"

When her eyes met Long Yu's deep gaze, she couldn't continue what she wanted to say. As he said, she was afraid.

She was afraid of being betrayed again, of giving her heart to anyone else, and of getting hurt again.

Seeing the redness in the corner of her eyes, Long Yu decided not to force his feelings onto her and took two steps back.
