Miku: Yup it includes his sense of taste so wasn't able to taste the food was made for him.
Keiko: but wasn't he eating Onigiri earlier?

Miku: from what I heard from Kane-chan's sister, their parents called after hearing the news of what happened, and they gave her a piece of advice to help him.

Natsuki suddenly came to the group visibly exhausted after running.

Natsuki: there's stranger with a sword near Higanbana-kun!

After hearing this they all got up from their seats and rushed back to Kaneki.
After a short bit they got closer to the tree where Kaneki was and saw.
