Bab 301: Familiar's return
August 9, 2042*
Natsuki: Miku are you alright?
Miku: do I have to keep reminding you? I told you I'm alright.
Kaneki: can you blame her? When you get nightmare you usually just wake up but don't scream.
Sachi: that's true, and you usually don't cry as well.
Chikao: yeah, it doesn't look normal.
Miku: you guys worry too much.
Everyone was worried about Miku because a few hours ago, she had a nightmare which made her cry when she woke up.
Though she was able to sleep easily after she went back to sleep but Kaneki, Natsuki, Miku and Chikao were still very worried.
Miku's thoughts*
(I'm okay right now but, that dream was really scary not only I saw my dad and dead brother but Onii-chan was being taken by some girl... Luckily Onii-chan won't let that happen)
She was still a bit bothered by what she saw but she is reassured because she knows her brother wouldn't try to do anything to hurt her.
Miku: by the way, is the insect familiars coming back soon?
Kaneki: yup, they're on their way, they'll probably be back once I'm done cooking.
Natsuki: that's great, they'll come back just in time to eat Kaneki's delicious food.
Miku: yeah, I honestly can't wait for your cooking too.
Sachi & Chikao: same here!
Kaneki: alright alright, be patient.
Kaneki then continued cooking.
Meanwhile in an unknown location*
Batta: thank you for everything you've done for me boss.
The insect familiars were in an unknown location talking to Batta's Boss.
???: you're welcome Batta-chan. Ku-kun, Mo-chan, Yanma, Heike and Miracle.
Ku-kun: Ku?
Mo-chan: Mo?
Yanma: Yan?
Heike: Hei?
Miracle: Mira?
???: thank you for making sure your friends gets along with Kaneki-chan.
Yanma: Hehe~ Yanma~
Heike: Hei hei~
Mo-chan: Mo Miku Mo?
???: yup, now we have do deal with Miku-chan, although she's already doing well, we just need to make sure nothing bad happens.
Mo-chan: MO!
???: alright, I'll entrust Kaneki-chan and his friends to you. You guys can go home now.
All insect familiars: Yay!
The insect familiars then started flying.
Batta: hey! Wait for your senpai!
???: Batta-chan wait.
Batta: hmm? What is it?
???: I haven't told them yet but, the clad of black wings are still trying to find Kaneki-chan.
Batta: !!!
That news made Batta listen more.
???: listen carefully.
Batta was given some instructions by her boss.
Batta: got it. I'll do my best!
???: good, well then, until we meet again.

The screen then turned off.
Batta: sigh~ this is going to be difficult but for Kaneki's sake I'll do it.
Ku-kun: Ku?
Batta: finally you guys returned.
Heike: Hei...
Batta: well you guys shouldn't leave, you guys don't know where to go after all.
Mo-chan & Yanma: Yan/ Mo~
Batta: alright let's go home. Darkness travel!
Batta used darkness travel to bring the insect familiars back to their homes.
Back at the Higanbana residence*
Kaneki: here's Kaneki's special beef curry rice~
Kaneki finished cooking and had put all the food in the table.
Miku: sniff~ woah~ it smells sooo goood~
Sachi: I can't wait to dig in!
Chikao: compared to my curry rice, Kaneki's is way more high leveled.
Kaneki: hehe~ thanks.
Kaneki then took a his seat.
Kaneki: let's dig in.
All 4: Yeah!

Everyone: Itadakimasu~
They then started eating.
Miku: Mmmh! Sho gwood!
Kaneki: don't eat with your mouth full.
Miku: gull* hehe~ sorry.
Sachi: the food is so good.
Chikao: are you a genius in cooking or something?
Natsuki: that must be the case right?
Kaneki: not really, Sword-san gives me instructions when I'm cooking and I gotten so used to that it became natural for me.
Natsuki: wait Sword-san can cook?
Kaneki: are you serious Natsuki? Sword-san can't move, she's a sword.
Natsuki: oh yeah, haha~ I forgot.
Splash!
Kaneki: oh looks like they're back.
A black puddle suddenly appeared in the kitchen and Kaneki noticed.
Sachi: eh?!

Batta: we're home~
Ku-kun: Ku!
Mo-chan: Mo!
Kaneki: welcome back you guys.
Batta: sorry it took so long, my boss is very talkative and we only got to our discussion a few hours ago.
Ku-kun flew and landed on Kaneki's head.
Ku-kun: wata ku...
Kaneki: ah, I see.
Mo-chan: Mo mo.
Kaneki: I see, well you guys can eat breakfast now I already prepared your shares over there.
Kaneki pointed at bowls filled with beef curry rice for Batta, Ku-kun and Mo-chan to eat.
Batta: really?!
Kaneki: yup, go eat breakfast and rest you guys are probably exhausted.
Batta: thank you Kaneki!
Ku-kun: Ku!
Mo-chan: Mo!
The 3 insect familiars then went to their bowls to eat.
All 3: Itadakimasu~/Kuwaga~/Moth~
The 3 then started eating.
Natsuki: they really are enjoying Kaneki's food.
Sachi: yeah, it's really cute to see them munch down in his food.
Chikao: yeah.
Miku: Onii-chan's food is the best.
Kaneki's face went red after hearing compliments.
And so they continued to eat until they finished.
30 minutes later*
Chikao: well thank you for having me Kaneki, I'm off now.
Kaneki: your welcome stay safe alright?
Chikao: I will! Well then see ya!
After eating and getting changed, Chikao went home.
Sachi: I'm going home too, you better get ready later Kaneki! We have a tournament to win!
Kaneki: got it!
Sachi then left.
Kaneki: what about you? Natsuki?
Natsuki: I'm staying, I already told Mom and Dad, they said it's alright.
Kaneki: nice!
Miku: well I'm off.
Kaneki & Natsuki: eh?
Miku: I'm going to meet Shino-Oneechan and Yuuka-Oneechan.
Kaneki: oh okay... Stay safe.
Miku smiled at Kaneki.
Miku: well I'm off!
Natsuki: I wonder where that kid is going?

(That dream probably not a normal one I must discuss this with those two!)
Miku was meeting up with Shino and Yuuka but why? And what does the dream she had mean?
