He glanced arrogantly at the other Kages, who were visibly furious at his statement, but there was little they could do about it. They couldn't simply attack the Sage of Six Paths; he could easily swat them away.
Minato knew that if he managed to obtain the Rinnegan, he would become the strongest. The Sage of Six Paths simply nodded, saying, "I hope this is enough to stop that destroyer. Other than that, all we can do is pray." After saying that, he began to fade away into the air, disappearing like smoke.
As the leader of the Land of Iron spoke up, he said, "Lord Hokage, congratulations on inheriting the will of the Sage of Six Paths. But who will you give the other aspect of his power to?"
Minato began to think, but inwardly scoffed. As if I'd give it to someone else. All I need is to get my hands on a Mangekyō Sharingan, and with this power, I should be able to evolve it into the Rinnegan, he thought with a smug smile. That Sage was really a fool, he continued in his mind, though he kept it to himself. "Only a trusted person can inherit such power, so I'll have to think about it," he replied out loud.
Raikage spoke up, "That's enough, Minato. Just because you've inherited this power doesn't mean you're the strongest person here and can command us."
Minato looked at him calmly. "We should really start training to deal with Naruto."
The leader of the Land of Iron agreed, saying, "Yes, we should train as much as possible. When the time comes, we'll be able to take down that demon. If the Sage of Six Paths considers him a threat, then he's a real threat, and we should all work together to eliminate him."
They all nodded in agreement. Time passed, and Minato secretly began making moves. He managed to obtain a Mangekyō Sharingan and implanted it into his left eye, evolving it into the Rinnegan. Although the moon symbol still remained on his forehead, he realized that not much power was left behind, so he couldn't transform another Sharingan into the Rinnegan, and decided not to push his luck.
The moon and sun symbols were still on his hands. Using the power of the sun symbol, he restored the chakra network for Mei, making her much stronger through training. Meanwhile, everyone continued to train, aware that one day, the demon Naruto would return, and they would have to face him.
During this time, Minato secretly planted his Shinobi into the councils of various villages, using his power to threaten many of the Kages and turn them to his advantage. A single signal from Minato would be enough to overthrow many Kages, replacing them with puppet rulers under his control.+
Minato's life was going smoothly at this time, but unknown to him, the entire planet would soon face an unseen and unknown threat. The so-called power of Sage Mode and the Six Paths would be meaningless against what was coming.
Far away, a figure was running for his life, limping and stumbling. This was the king of the Otsutsuki"Tenji Otsutsuki". He had tried his best to fight against the one pursuing him, but nothing worked. His entire species had been wiped out, and now this unstoppable force was still coming for him. This force was none other than Naruto, now aged 16 or 17, who was calmly walking toward the fleeing king.
Beside Naruto was a beautiful figure—Kia otsutsuki. Her eyes glowed a brilliant blue, reflecting her newfound power. These were not just any eyes; they were the Rinnegan. She had absorbed many of the Otsutsuki and had become so powerful that she was now considered the strongest being in the universe, second only to Naruto. Naruto chuckled. "What a pathetic sight. A cockroach actually thought he was stronger than me? He actually had the audacity to challenge me."
Kia laughed as she hugged Naruto playfully. "Well, my lord, he's just a weakling. Allow me to take care of him." Naruto smiled and said, "Go ahead, my dear. Show me your strength."
Kia giggled and, in an instant, appeared in front of the Usus king, grabbing him by the neck and lifting him into the air. "You weak, pathetic insect. Just like my lord said, you should have surrendered and served him. Maybe in your next life, you'll have more sense." She laughed as the king let out a scream of agony. His body began to transform into a fruit, which Kia devoured with delight.
As she ate, Naruto appeared beside her, watching with amusement as her body transformed and her power increased even further. He looked at her with admiration, though she was more than just a servant to him—she was a companion, though he wouldn't admit it openly.
Kia smiled smugly at Naruto, and he smirked back. With the Usus finally exterminated, Naruto turned to her and said, "Well then, I think it's time I fulfill my promise to pay a visit to my former home."
Kia giggled and moved closer to Naruto. "Yes, my lord. Let's finish them off quickly so we can move on with our plans."
