Bab 22: Fighting Neji

Now that Ren had the ketsuryūgan his stats didn't directly increase, but it instead increased the strength of his blood jutsu. Also, Ren now had access to the genjutsu of the ketsuryūgan, which could make people into mindless drones on contact and give Ren protection from mind reading. After doing a basic test on all his blood jutsu Ren got used to the new power of the jutsu and so he and the Chinoike clan members made their way back to the valley of hell.

After they got back to the valley of hell they all went straight to the Clan head and told him that everything Ren was talking about was true. The next three weeks at the valley of hell was very useful for Ren because he told the Clan Head that he didn't train in blood jutsu because his family tried to hide their relation to the Chinoike clan. Ren learned three jutsu in total. The first one made wounds bleed for as long as Ren has chakra, it was called infinite bleeding jutsu. The second one allowed Ren to locate any blood in a radius around him depending on how much chakra he uses, this is called blood sensing jutsu. The last jutsu that Ren learned made an armor of blood around his body, which he could either focus on one part for more protection or his whole body, the jutsu was called blood armor jutsu.

Even though Ren mostly focused on blood jutsu he also focused on making his own gentle fist even though he still can't see the chakra network. Ren also secretly slowly made people in the Chinoike clan into vampire servants and now he had around one-third of the clan under his control, but Ren still couldn't control people in special jounin or higher level so he just had the weaker people into vampires. Ren had to now make his way back to the village because he didn't want to miss the finals of the chunin exam.

Ren didn't want to waste tons of points in making a blood clone to act like him, so he decided that he would just tell the Clan head that he felt that he needed to go through real battles outside of the valley so that he could get stronger and take revenge on the leftover members of the Uchiha clan. This went well for Ren and the Clan head said he could leave the valley for one year and he would come back to show his progress and give more news. So Ren made his way outside of the valley and checked his map to make sure the Clan head didn't send people to spy on him or find out if he had someone behind him.

Ren didn't find anyone from the Chinoike clan spying on him from the map, but just in case they were outside of his detection radius Ren ran to the village as fast as he could. Once the sun went down Ren finally made it close enough to the village, so that he could teleport in and switch with the blood clone pretending to be him. Since Ren was drinking tiny amounts of the Chinoike clan member's blood over the month he got 700 points and now had a total of 1,580 points in total.

With this amount of points, Ren was able to teleport into the village for 1,000 points and before he did this he checked to make sure no one saw him teleport in the village. Now that Ren was in the village he snuck into the orphanage, switched with his blood clone, and stopped the transformation jutsu and blood transformation jutsu. The blood clone jutsu also gave him the memories of the clone like the shadow clone jutsu and so once he dispelled it, he felt his heads slightly hurt from all the experiences of his clone. During this time Ren's clone focused on learning about the chakra network and fighting strategies.

From all the information Ren learned about the chakra network he could almost use his own version of the gentle fist even though he had no Byakugan. Now that Ren had gotten used to all the memories of the clone, he went to sleep so that he was prepared for the chunin exam finals tomorrow. *Time skip to morning* It was now morning and Ren did some basic warm-up exercises and then made his way to the place where the finals were being held. Since Ren had beaten Naruto in the chunin exams previously he had replaced him in the first fight, and now it was Ren vs Neji. Just like in the original Hayate had died and now was being replaced by Genma as the announcer of the fights.

"The first fight of the chunin exam finals will be, Ren Akimasa vs Neji Hyuga." - Genma

Once the fight was announced everyone else left the arena and now only Ren and Neji stood in it. Then the fight began, even though Ren was skilled in taijutsu he knew that Neji could beat lee if he didn't use the gates. So the first thing Ren did was use the blood boiling jutsu without the ketsuryūgan, then Ren made the owl chakra aura to make all his attacks silent, and then ran forward at Neji. Since Ren's speed was faster than Neji's he couldn't handle all the attacks easily and had to go all out at the start.

Ren started the battle with a kick to Neji's side, which he tried to dodge and couldn't. As Neji was still sent back from the kick, Ren ran forward and went to punch Neji in the face, but right before he could hit him chakra came out of all of Neji's tenketsu and then Neji began to spin rapidly. Ren knew that he couldn't easily stop the Palms Revolving Heaven, but he still ran at Neji and went to hit the circle of chakra. Everyone thought Ren was just trying to overpower it with his strength, but if someone looked very closely they would be able to tell that the circle of chakra was getting weaker and Ren's chakra was growing.

Ren did this by using the chakra absorbing technique Yoroi used but he had greatly increased its capabilities by instead of just absorbing your opponent's chakra Ren would also sneak dark chakra into their chakra network and slowly blocked all the tenketsu in the body. Neji was able to notice the foreign chakra in his chakra network, so he knew that he needed to defeat Ren quickly and couldn't just focus on defense. Neji ran at Ren and tried to use the Sixty-Four Palms, but Ren was able to dodge almost all of the attacks. After Neji finished using Sixty-Four Palms the majority of his chakra network was now corrupted with dark chakra, so Ren knew that Neji probably couldn't use the Palms Revolving Heaven to stop the attack.

Ren began to rush Neji and attacked Neji anywhere that he wasn't blocking and after a few seconds of being attacked Neji couldn't continue the battle because he wasn't used to enduring attacks but instead he normally dodged them.
