Bab 2: Prologue Part Two:
Darkness. Black all around him. That is what greeted him as he came to and collected himself.
After a few minutes, he remembered that he died and that he was no longer with the living. He wondered where he was, if this was how one would experience after death.
He could understand how terrifying it is to stay in this sort of environment.
The silence and darkness with nothing around to occupy himself can slowly make one go insane or crazy. He wondered if this was his punishment for existing just as his step-mother stated many times before.
Only after what felt like hours, did a change occur in his surroundings or more like his consciousness.
A medical room with two women, one young women on a stretcher while the other performing what looked like helping pull out a baby from the mother's womb.
After a minute, a healthy baby boy was brought out and cleaned. The umbilical cord was cut by the doctor as well. After a few more minutes the baby was returned to the young woman now mother.
It was then a look of realization crossed his mind, when he heard the mother say:"Mi bebé, mi nombre es Emma Elui nee Duval Durand. Yo soy tu madre y tú eres mi luz amada. Tu nombre será Lucien Durand." [My baby, my name is Emma Elui nee Duval Durand. I am your mother and you are my beloved light. Your name shall be Lucien Durand.]
Had he had a body and someone in the surroundings, then they would have seen him, no, Lucien crying as he finally saw his mother's face. He was so happy as well as he found out that his mother truly loved him as well. As for many years, he often times hears others say he was abandoned anf that his mother hated him. That she left him because of of some flaw in him.
He knew not to trust their words, but there was always a doubt whether or not she loved him or not. Here he found out that she indeed did and that he was the light for her.
As the minutes, hours, days, and years go by, he watched his life from his birth to his ending.
Once he reached his death scene, he realized that his surroundings changed and that he gained his body once again. For he is sitting across a middle-aged man who had reddish-black hair with a mustache and goatee. The man seems to be above average in looks as well.
From what Lucien can feel from this man is a peaceful and comfortable aura but filled with aura like authority and majesty. He can only assume the man is one of the Gods from the many written about in the various countries back on Earth.
