Bab 22: Kuki vs Hozuki!
__3 minutes later in the training grounds__
A match that was being held between Kuki and Hozuki gained attention from everyone at the headquarters,and the samurais were quickly gathered at the training grounds.
Kuki and his Opponent were standing face to face 10 meters apart.Hozuki was stretching casually,showing that he's gonna take the fight seriously while Kuki was grinning deviously.
'I've been itching for a proper fight!'Kuki thought while he tried to hold back his excitement since this would be his first battle ever since reincarnating,needless to say,his fighting spirit is hungry.
"Just so you know,you can go all out,you won't even be able to touch me kiddo "
Hozuki said while smiling,trying to rile up Kuki.
"With pleasure "Kuki said as his grin grew wider, making Hozuki slightly flinch.
"Teachem who's boss Hozuki!!"One of the samurais yelled out,as Hozuki turned to them to give them a thumbs up as if he's saying "I will".
"Are you two ready?"Isane,who is the referee, asked the two young samurai.
"Yep "Hozuki added in a confident tone.
"I was born ready "Kuki said without a hint of hesitation.
"Start!!"
As soon as Isane finished,the two samurais quickly drew their weapon,Hozuki was using a traditional katana while Kuki took out a knife with a small figure carved on it.
"Huh?"Hozuki was instantly surprised by Kuki's odd weapon,but before he could recover his attention,Kuki was already in front of him.
Kuki quickly attacked Hozuki with a barrage of knife slashes,although he was caught off guard,Hozuki managed to dodge and parry all of Kuki's attacks.
'Fast!'Hozuki thought as he dished out a strong slash which Kuki was able to barely block,pushing him back.
'This guy is strong!'Kuki thought as his grin grew wider and wider.
Kuki stepped back,creating enough distance from Hozuki to do hand seals and casted rock throw justu.
4 palm sized rocks appeared in front of Kuki and launched at Hozuki at high speeds,Hozuki quickly dodge two while parrying another one.
Unfortunately ,he couldn't avoid it completely and a rock struck his right thigh,causing it to slightly limp.
"That kid just used ninjutsu?!?!"The samurais were shocked that a small kid was capable of doing something most of them couldn't do themselves.
"Chakra flow!"Hozuki shouted as a blue aura formed around his katana.
Isane widened his eyes thinking 'Even though he's talented,I can't believe he's able to perform chakra flow already!' as the samurai's cheers become louder.
'Dangerous!' Seeing his opponent getting serious,he decided to finally activate his byakugan,his right eyes widened as veins started popping up around his byakugan.
Upon observing his opponent,Kuki was left speechless as Hozuki's chakra reserves were humongous,it was the largest amount of chakra Kuki has ever seen.remembering Hozuki's introduction earlier,something clicked in Kuki's mind 'He's an Uzumaki after all' making him all the more excited.
"Rahhh"Hozuki roared at Kuki as he rushed in with an abnormally huge blue aura on his katana.Using his byakugan,Kuki could dodged Hozuki's big swings,however he found no opportunity to attack between Hozuki's attacks.
Suddenly,Kuki used his knife to parry on of Hozuki's swings,but to his surprise,the steel knife he made was cleanly split in half by Hozuki's slash,like a hot knife cutting butter.
Thankfully,this left Hozuki in an awkward position,seizing this opportunity,Kuki got closer to Hozuki and used his gentle fist.
"Eight trigram sixteen palms"Kuki muttered as he struck Hozuki in 16 of his chakra points.
Hozuki was launched backwards into the ground,Kuki's attack left Hozuki unconscious as the crowd went silent.
"Hozuki Uzumaki is unable to battle,Kuki Uragiru wins"Isane announced with a serious tone as everyone else went wild with cheers.
