Bab 31: MYS 31 Persuasion

MYS 31

...

Then I curled up.

Cry out loud. Since Ana's mother was having a social gathering in Kebumen, I could cry as much as I wanted.

"Ugh... let's eat first. Here I made a special menu for you." John's deep voice forced me to open my eyes.

"Ana's mother is home?"

"Not yet."

"Where are you?"

"Playing PS three with Edi and Ebi."

"Then why are you here?" I asked like a dazed person. Frowning, he realized that it was dark and the house was quiet.

"Ana said you didn't want to eat since this afternoon. She gave up asking you to eat well so she asked me to make this for you," explained Jono who handed me a plate of super fragrant spaghetti teasing my stomach until a rumbling sound was created. Don't forget a glass of my favorite iced orange without sugar.

"Thank you, Jon."

In just no more than five minutes the contents of the plate on the empty table and also the glass beside it. Full.

"You want to come to Bandung? I can take you." Jono suggested suddenly.

Hearing what Jono just said, made my consciousness fully gather. Surprised by the crazy suggestion but sounds interesting to try.

"Do you have a driver's license?"

"There is Pak Supri. If necessary, we can rent a helicopter so we can hurry up." Jon smirked. Realizing that his inducement had just succeeded in making me an idiot. Just believe.

"No. I'll be scolded later." I'm sure.

That crazy idea was just beautiful to imagine. I don't dare to take the risk if I follow Bandung. Could be a real sea of fire.

Finally, I followed Jono back to his house, just washing the glass plates as a thank you.

"I'm serious, Anggi. If you want to go to Bandung." Jono interrupted, making me realize that he hasn't returned to the room yet.

"No. It could be something that only makes me labeled a naughty child. Not according to what my parents say." I clear.

"Hmmm, is that so... if you come with me back to Surabaya, will you?"

"What are you doing."

"Ana is also coming. If you don't want to, you'll be alone with Aunt Meli," said Jono not answering the question. I already knew that every week Jono would return to Surabaya to take care of what he said was 'business'.

"It's okay. I'm used to being alone." reject me. Lazy to go out even though tomorrow is Saturday and Sunday school is off.

"I'll take you to Tunjungan later. You can play as much as you want there. Take your body care supplies at the same time." said Jono still trying to persuade.

"Tunjungan Mall huh?" I whispered starting to think.

How many centuries did my mother never take me for a walk to the mall? Moreover, in Prembun there is no mall. And, Tunjungan Mall is the icon of Surabaya. You haven't been to Surabaya if you don't go to Tunjungan, people say.

I just nodded hesitantly but in the morning Ana and I were already at Sahid's hotel who was still sleeping because he was tired of playing games on the train. Jono's parent's house is being renovated so we can't stay there. Instead, Jono booked a room at the hotel closest to Gubeng station.

The clock on my cellphone showed eight o'clock so I went down to the restaurant for breakfast. There, Edi and Ebi were already fighting over the tablet.

"Bi, you usually don't like Fire-Fire either." Edi squeaked emotion making fried rice splatter out of his mouth.

"I want to use it to see Alex's design. If you use a cellphone, the details are not clear. It's only for a moment. Don't be stingy. Just eat well." Ebi exclaimed not wanting to give in.

Without intending to break up the two Caucasian boys with trunks, I sat in front of them, trying to enjoy breakfast which was not delicious because of the sound of their fighting. Looking at those who don't look alike snatching gadgets that don't belong to them either.

"Can you two shut up..." Jono sighed. Moved the chair next to Ebi and sat down. He began to eat a large plate of fried rice voraciously.

"Here... ten minutes." clicked Edi relented, pushed the tablet in front of Ebi, and was immediately grabbed.

"You guys have grown up. Can you be a little more elite if you want to fight over my tablet?" blurted out Jono was still annoyed apparently. He devoured the fried rice in two minutes. Maybe he'll swallow his two cousins if he's still hungry.

"You say elite? Where are there people who are fighting over how to think of the elite..." Edi laughed slightly raising his eyebrows. More because he was surprised to see Jono finished his breakfast so quickly.

"Tunjungan opens at ten. You can lie down in Anggi's room first," said Jono, not paying attention to Edi's chatter. But that means he also kicked me out of his sight. I think John is really angry.

"Yeah. I'll wake Ana first." I replied, quickly leaving the three cousins from the restaurant. Go up to the fourth floor.

At eleven past three minutes and twenty-five seconds, we arrived at Tunjungan. Edi and Ebi immediately fled to their favorite zone, the Time Zone. Meanwhile, Ana and I followed Jono to The Body Shop outlet, one of the businesses managed by his mother.

Lama Jono talked to his sister's cousin from his mother's family in the office and then came out carrying two large packs of various body care products. My favorite strawberry-flavored shampoo doesn't miss him.

"Jon, Anggi, and I went to Gramed first. You have a meeting at the usual place, right?" Ana said then took me away. Jon just nodded in agreement.

I don't know what Ana means 'in the usual place' where I just tilt my head trying to find an imaginary answer. Without realizing it, we are already on the shelves of Gramed novels.

Once again, it seems like I haven't set foot in Gramedia, my favorite bookstore since I was nine years old. I used to stop by here after school because my elementary school was close to Gramedia.

Remembering that, I remember the old days starting from the first time I was angry because every year I changed schools to the scouting camp yesterday.

Remembering how the camp for three days and two nights only made me shudder with horror. Because since then Andi has always chased me like a cat that needs to pee. Najis tralala is very used.

That day, we were a team of seven. Five girls in class and two girls in the class next door got lost finding our tent. That's when Andi appeared like a hero who came to the rescue and told us that the girls' camp area was at the south end of the field with the boys at the southeast of the field.

All the children thanked me non-stop while I was silent. More because I was annoyed with my teammates because of what I said about the location of our camp tent, which was supposed to turn right, but the team leader chose to turn left even though I shouted to turn right.

"The one in the middle has thrush, huh?" asked Andi, caring. Because I was lazy to serve me, I nodded in agreement.
