Bab 190: Perks of immortality?

Alethia looked deep into his eyes. "Come, I will take you on a walk through the secret gardens. Let us begin your initiation."

Alethia stood up, moving with ease, her form moving gracefully across the floor. She paused near the door, as if to collect herself, before gesturing to a cloak hanging on a nearby chair.

"Put this on." Alethia spoke softly, her tone almost monotone.

Her actions made him stutter, "What... where are we going again?"

He watched as she fished around the bedside table, pulling a few scrolls and other items from within. When she reached the final scroll, she withdrew it with a small smile.

"This should make things easier for you. Please put on this robe." She held the thin piece of parchment out in front of her, displaying a glowing red symbol on its surface.
