Bab 179: 179, Feeding

Su Wanwan huffed, her teeth itching with annoyance. She clenched her fists, trying to get up and do something, but with a cry of "Ay ya," toppled back down like a weeble.

Huo Jingshen placed the plate on the coffee table, walked over to her, picked up a blanket from one side, and directly wrapped her in it.

"What are you doing?" Su Wanwan cried out in alarm as she was lifted up by him, wrapped up like a zongzi (a traditional Chinese rice-dumpling).

Once at the sofa, Huo Jingshen sat her on his lap still wrapped in the blanket, speaking to her in a tone like one would use to coax a child, "Aren't your legs weak? Let's have your hubby feed you."

With that, he brought a spoonful of food to her mouth, "Okay, open up."

The pale yellow noodles were topped with a piece of beef with tendons, coated with sauce. It was steaming hot, emitting an enticing aroma. It looked deliciously tempting.
