Bab 23: Chapter 23: That voice again

My room felt too quiet as if it were holding its breath, waiting for something to happen. I sat on the edge of my bed, staring at my phone. I had been obsessively checking the comments on Sinacore’s latest post, trying to get a general view of how the tennis world was taking the whole incident at Wimbledon.

But from what I saw, it didn't seem like they were taking Sinacore's loss too well.

‘He's Overhyped and overpaid. Absolute disgrace of a player,’ one comment read.

‘After the absolute fiasco at Wimbledon, I guess we can agree Carlos is the best tennis player of this generation,’ said another

‘This is what happens when young stars think they're hot shit too early, they burn out.’

There were other comments offering support and condolences, but they were drowned out by the sheer number of negative comments.
