He tried to implode his head like he did the others but to no avail, there was nothing.

Kenzo expected this because if he could turn to bats and still be functional, there was a high chance he was impervious to psychic attacks.

Kenzo watched him but realized that this man had no interest in fighting him.

"I would have killed you myself but he needs you alive. I would have never suspected the Oni to be the one he spoke about but I welcome it," Gerard blurted out.

Kenzo didn't know whether to take this as an insult or not but he was going to try regardless.

Kenzo rushed towards Gerard, attempting to slice him into two but Gerard didn't even disperse, he simply leaped upward to dodge the kick before attempting to land a spinning kick aimed at Kenzo's temple but he ducked down to dodge it.
