Bab 50: Thor return
"I'm impossible." The dark elf immortal said in a shaky voice as he looked at Ling Han. But he quickly relaxed when he saw the state of Ling Han's right arm, which was used to attack him.
Ling Han's right arm was completely crippled at the moment. It was as skinny as a stick and completely black. all the meridian within his arms was destroyed with that last attack.
But slight fear returned the dark elf as she saw Ling Han's arm began to have color return to it. Before his stun eyes, Ling Han arm with back to normal,
"speak, what is this tree origin." Ling Han asked calmly. The dark felt took a step back as he sensed danger from Ling Han.
With a thought, he tried he remove the seal he placed on his cultivation.
'system rasing my cultivation to the peak of the saint king realm.' Ling Han said calmly. Warm energy entered his body. His cultivation began to raise until it reached level 9 of the Saint king realm.
Ling Han stepped forward, disappearing from the dark elf line of sight. The dark elf blinked as he realized that Ling Han's fist had slammed into his dantian.
The seal which was about to be removed was forcefully placed back on along with multiple other stronger seals, which made it, so his cultivation drops to the core formation realm.
"so. now should I do a soul search, or will you spite it out on your own?" Ling Han said as he also went on to seal up his movement.
"haha, grandson. you are truly ruthless." Lighting flashed across the sky as a man holding a hammer appeared above him. Mu Qingyun and his father followed behind him as they went to land next to him.
"oh, this is random. you found out you are my grandfather?" Ling Han asked with a smile
"I got the news 5 days ago. I have been with my daughter ever since." Thor said with a huge smile as he rubbed Mu Qingyun head, but Mu Qingyun slapped his hand away.
Thor sighed at her action as he seriously looked at Ling Han.
"I came to bring her back. But forgive me, grandson, I'm not allowed to take you with me. I know you and your parents just got together, but my father told me to come to get them. I hold you understand." Thor said as he bowed his head slightly
Mu Qingyun had tears in her eyes. She felt like she failed as a mother. She tried so hard to break off that engagement, only for this to suddenly appear.
She at first was in disbelief to suddenly realize that her current parents were not her real parents. But these few days, she came to accept the truth and see him as her father.
When she heard that she could take as many people as she wished to Asgard, she was happy. But she when she heard that the only person she couldn't bring with her was Ling Han. she refused to go,
But hearing that Odin planned to make Ling Han the next king of Asgard. With a few more words from Thor, she wanted to see Ling Han's word. If Ling Han wanted to come, then no matter what, she would bring Ling Han with her.
If not, then she would force Thor to at least break Ling Han's seal.
"I guessed something like this would happen. so when are you guys going?" Ling Han asked lazily
"You want to come, right?" Ling Feng asked with a frown. He, of course, wanted his son to come with them.
"no, it's cool. I'm not one to be held down by rules. If I go to Asgard, there would be many rules I have to follow and stuff. Plus, I like taking things so, skipping the immortal realm and going the heavenly realm doesn't sound right." Ling Han said calmly
Mu Qingyun wanted to say something, but she realized she lost the ability to speak. Thor gave her a look before shaking his head.
But Mu Qingyun eyes which were turning cold, made him sigh. Lightning gathered around his hammer before he shot it into Ling Han's body.
A shock wave came off Ling Han as the seal which sealed away his bloodline was changed.
"your seal has been changed. You can use all the abilities passed through your bloodline, be it Odin's or my grandfather. The most powerful ability passed through our bloodline allows you to enter berserk-like state. Your strength will increase but at the cost of your mind. Everyone you see will become your enemy. so don't use this unless you have to." Thor said seriously
"as for this tree of life... it's a scheme the dark elves have been using for thousands of years. The only way for a dark elf to be born is when a normal elf is carpeted. thousands of years ago, a battle between the dark elf and normal elves happened. which led to branches of the tree of life being sent flying into the void." Thor said calmly
"the dark elf came up with the idea of going around conquering the many lower realms out there. And slaughter all other races but the elves, and make sure that the tree of life turns into a dark tree of life. that way, the dark tree of life would give birth to elves which would be easier to turn into dark elves."
"that way, they would have an endless amount of dark elves. Ready to enter the immortal realm to conquer before setting their eyes on the heavenly realm."
"they have to seal off the lower realm since dark elves are much weaker than other races. The first step is to weaken everyone in the lower realm, leaving only themselves to grow while everyone else power slowly grows. after some time, they would begin to put their plans in action." Thor said calmly
"as for this tree of life..." Thor slowly frowned as he looked at the dark tree of life before him.
the dark tree of life shook slightly,
"This is a part of the core of the tree of life. no wonder it gained Consciousness." Thor said as he reached over to grab the tree, but he froze as if listening to someone.
"grandson, I will leave it to you to return this tree to the elf tribe in the lower realm," Thor said as he stepped back along with everyone else.
"and before we leave. I should give you a gift..." He said as an egg fell from the sky, landing right next to Ling Han.
"This is an egg I came across a few hundreds of years ago. I wanted to hatch it and see what's inside, but Odin told me to give it to you. So good luck if Odin wants you to have that. That means this egg holds something that's going to help you in the future." Odin said with a smile
"Before you leave, how does my combat talent rank amongst those in the heavenly realm." Ling Han asked, which made Thor frown for a second as he thought.
"I would say... amongst the top 100. there are people who can fight those 2 realms above their cultivation. Simply fight those 12 levels above your cultivation. In the Saint king realm, it isn't that special. unless you add that avatar technique of your." Thor said calmly
"where do you rank?" Ling Han asked with slight surprise. for someone to fight two realms above their cultivation. That's 18 levels they are skipping.
"I'm tired with Hercules for 3rd place... when I was at your level of cultivation, I could fight immortals. Although I was just a few months old." Thor said softly
"That reminds me, or battle is in a few years. I should be going, grandson. A battle awaits me." Thor said as rainbow beam shot down, sending them away.
"a few months old and could fight immortals..." Ling Han said down as he crossed his legs and fell into deep thought
"Thor is from the immortal realm, so it is normal that his combat strength would be high. Plus the number of resources he has. And even some special training he had, skipping 18 levels isn't that far of a stretch. That means I still have room to improve. I will ignore my bloodline and the godly Xumi art for now." Ling Han said calmly
He stood up and placed the egg into the spirit farm.
*unknown object has been sensed within the spirit farm... Eggs can't be identified. does the host wish for the system to hatch the egg for him.* the system asked
'berry explain.' Ling Han said calmly
"master. The system would hatch the egg. This means the system would speed the time needed for this egg to hatch from a few thousand of years to only a few 20 or so years, or even faster with the system leveling up. This will also allow the system to identify the egg, no matter what level it is. once it's hatched by the system, it would be identified." Berry said to which Ling Han nodded
'then let the farm hatch it.' Ling Han said calmly as he turned his attention to his body. With the seal which sealed his bloodline being removed, he felt like nothing in this world could stop him.
A simple attack and his lightning would ignore all defense in this lower realm. Not to mention the many abilities which came with his bloodline.
Unlike his mother, who only gained thor ability, Ling Han had purified his blood. Allowing him to gain access to more abilities much easier.
The first ability he gained was called gods wrath. A technique that draws upon the power of heaven and earth to form a lightning storm.
The second was known as The Wrath of the God of Thunder. This was an attack that gathers all of the energy within the body, and into one point before shooting it out. Upon using this skill, one body would fall into a weakened state where even blinking would be considered too much work.
The 3rd ability was known as Arm heal. This skill allows one to regrow or heal any damage done to an arm. Thor gained this skill due to how much he always loses an arm, that he created a technique to help out. But it uses life force, which is a drawback.
The 4th ability was known as bullet time. An ability that makes the world around you move in slow motion. You will not speed up or any. You will just see or sense things ten times faster.
The next ability was known as berserk. There were actually two levels to this technique. The first one turns you into a mindless warrior who would kill any and all things it sees. It would also increase one combat strength by 10 times.
The second level turns one back into their true form. Odin and Thor were not humans. They took on human appearance. Upon death, you would raise again in your true form. Still in a berserk-like state, once you calm down. You would enter a deep sleep where your body would need to heal.
Ling Han seeing these skills, sighed, but a raven suddenly flew into his forehead, knocking him back. Getting up, the raven had disappeared. and a new seal appeared on his, completely sealing away his bloodline
'fuck, just when I get it.' Ling Han thought with a frown, knowing that Odin had a hand in this.
A beam of rainbow light fell from the sky, landing next to him. looking over, he saw 1 talisman, along with a letter
