When Artie saw him seated on a bed with a very strange expression, she knew that something was already wrong. Her suspicions had grown when Larkin started to pour out his heart unto her, which was something he would do like this. He was not the type who would try to invite pity to himself.

That was why she had given this question: 'System, is there a way for me to know if someone is about to be corrupted? I have a feeling that something's very wrong with Larkin, and I have to do something before he turned into something like Havina.'
