Bab 107: The Archduchess's Duties

"Larkin… arranged the marriage between Prince Selvig and Princess Havina?" Artie was shocked. She thought that those marriages were exclusively arranged by their parents. Then again, she remembered how much Larkin knew about Selvig as a prince. He must have employed his secret men to see if Selvig would be good enough for Havina to idolize in the long run. Even if he was not, Larkin was willing to extend a hand.

"Yes." Rumina only smiled as if trying again. "Artie, there are things that I might need to tell you. Do you know that Marissa Princesley… was once set to be Herriot's intended? However, we all discovered that they had a level of consanguinity. Herriot's father and Marissa's mother… are siblings. And so… we have to break the engagement. My problem once again rises from the pits of despair.
