Bab 146: No One would Listen to Me

The gala functioned like normal for the people of Latodine. Most nobles, however, would gossip about the gradient dress Artie was wearing while keeping their eyes on her as she 'spoke' with the prince. None of them treated the relationship between Selvig and Artie as a simple friendship as they were always normally together in the castle based on the rumors of the servants.

It didn't matter if they were newly married. No one could deny that perhaps they were both filled with regret for marrying quite a little too early.

However, their attention was easily taken when a young lord was thrown to the ground. When they all turned, it was Herriot. The unwanted prince had struck again, and he didn't even think of the humiliation his sister would face after this. Moreover, his sister was ailing already. Why would he make her feel worse?
