Bab 190: A Man whose Magic can Kill upon Touch

'The archduchess came.'

These three words appeared on another mirror, to the surprise of the one watching over it. The man got up and stared at the words, not knowing if the person who wrote it was one of them. Then again, if he wasn't, how would he know how to use this mirror or why the mirror would respond to his blood?

He hurriedly pricked his finger on the spike at the side as well and wrote back, the words disappearing as soon as he touched the mirror: 'Has Latodine attacked Quidra?'

'Only the archduchess and perhaps the archduke. I have not gotten a good look at the man, but he was oozing with a deathly mist.'
